Diablo Immortal: Can You Move Characters to Another Server

Players of Diablo Immortal are currently unable to switch servers while keeping their characters and progress. Learn how to choose a server by reading this guide.

How to Change Servers

To open the server list, you tap on the appropriate location. While returning players will find the server they previously played on already selected for them, first-time players will see the name of a pre-picked server already listed on the server box.

The Main Menu of Diablo Immortal is where players can find all server settings, including a complete list of servers from which to choose.

Choose a Server

All that is left to do is choose the server you want to be on after bringing up the server list. Players can utilize the "find" function in the top right corner of the menu to look for their server if they need to choose a specific server name.

How to Transfer Character to Another Server

Unfortunately, at this moment, character transfers across servers are not possible. Characters created, along with their advancement, gear, and accomplishments, will be restricted to the initial server they were created for.

The only way to play on another server right now is to create a new character there because trying to switch servers only leads to a character creation screen.

Even if a new character is created on a different server, character progression is still saved. Characters are saved on the initial server they were formed in despite not being able to be transferred across servers. As a result, players who create characters on, say, a North American server will be able to switch to another server to create them and then return to the first server with all of their progress preserved.
