  Finally, we get to the second largest state in the US and the largest state in American Truck Simulator history ever. By the way, it used to be part of Mexico and then an independent country. Texas has different names: the Lone Star State, the independent state, the state within the state and so on. There are many interesting stereotypes and legends about this colourful state. The Lone Star State is known for its vast territory, diverse nature and high-tech industry. Numerous films have been made about it and many songs were sung. It's a state with a rich history and here now we will travel on our adventures as an American trucker. Mountains, sea, border with Mexico, deserts, fields, oil, cattle, agriculture, space - all this and much more has to offer us this amazing region of the USA. For me this is the most long awaited state, all the others are very good, but this one is special for some reason. I will definitely go and explore it and I advise everyone to do the same. The next state will be Oklahoma

  Another fantastic addition to this amazing game. ITS HUGE! Make sure to get Texas-Sized Bundle to save big or at least get new Wild West paint DLC pack fro free if you own everything else. This DLC costs less then an meal for two but will bring you much more joy)

  Been a long time coming - I think this was on my wishlist for 19 months but it's finally here! Despite the 35% or so price increase when compared to other ATS expansions, this piece of content seems quite substantial in terms of scale and variety. Probably the largest DLC we've had overall so I can see why it costs more especially after 2+ years of challenging development. If you are dedicated to this game then there is no reason not to buy it!

  Having driven through Texas many many times this DLC is pretty spot on especially with key landmark and street names . Phenomenal definitely worth it. To the people complaining about the price...this is the largest expansion of the map that they've released...pick up an extra shift or wait for a sale.

  I'm a lifelong resident of Austin, Texas. I could go and drive these streets myself any time I want to, but instead I will drive them in the virtual world.

  As hyped as I was for this, it did not really meet expectations. Somehow took 3 minutes to go from Fort Worth to Dallas... US 287 is just missing completely once it gets to Fort Worth, alongside Arlington not existing. Everything is far too short distance wise, and I get that this game does this, however if they really wanted for it to be big they would give it some actual size. And for not being able to drive on anything other than highways in DFW is pretty disappointing too. Overall, it's alright, but a lot of things are just plain wrong and they're easy to tell. Best way to make it feel like you're going actual distances in Texas, just drive about 15 MPH, and this game will make the short distances work. If you're looking for accuracy and realism it's not too present here. As much as I paid, I can only dream of it being corrected or improved. TLDR: Too many defining cities and towns are missing, and distance is way too short.
