I hesitate to write bad reviews and I usually do so when the game is incomplete, has technical issues, or a poor tutorial. However, I will make an exception for this game. I've played story-based games with dark themes and no good ending, I've played my share of dystopian games. Each of those games had purpose--whether it being a commentary on authoritarianism, mental health, or something else. This game's purpose is Nihilism. That's right--to make the point that everything leads to nothing. That choices really don't matter and in the end, the "satisfaction" of playing the game despite some occasional humor is whether or not you were okay with meaningless choices. HA! They COMPLETELY missed the purpose of life--IN A GAME ABOUT LIFE. Every life is precious in the tapestry. Every life does have an impact, even if they themselves cannot see it. And here is the kicker—the first few playthroughs seem “innocent”. As you play more and more they smack you over the head with Nihilism—that you have to choose it—in order to reach your meaningless goals. It reminds me of the game below—it too, started off innocently, and the more you played, if you actually paid attention, the more you realized that the game was mislabeled, not as simulation, but as horror. The last time I played a game this disturbing was a game where the only way to move forward was to kill others, in a setting where you had to decide whether or not they were "really people". It was a game about the Milgram's experiment, masquerading as a simulation game. To the Creator: You are what you put out and what you consume. Next time, don’t ruin the premise of a great game. If you’re going the phycological route, think of something with more meaning. The WARNING on this game is there for a reason, people. Don’t be depressed before playing. TLDR: Great game idea ruined by worthless theory propaganda.

I pissed off my bride and she killed me. Jokes aside, this game is repeatable enough to get all the possible endings. It's good to pass time. It can teach you a few lessons about life too, just don't take the game too seriously because most of it is satire!

Not very good, but not super bad either.

Why did I spend 7$ on this game when I can play Bitlife for free, especially given the fact that Bitlife has 5x the gameplay? Would not recommend.

This game's main downfall is that it isn't as intelligent as it seems to think it is. The messages are extremely cut and dry. Don't be lazy, remember that "life happens", don't wait for the "perfect opportunity", crime doesn't pay, etc, all things that we've heard time and time again. Very seldom do things happen that are *truly* unexpected, and those unexpected things are more or less just cheap shots "you travel and your plane gets hit by a rocket ooo". Not a bad game, really, but more straight forward than I would have liked. Simple animation, simple dialogue, simple paths. There's 20 "endings" and 39 achievements, but many endings barely differ from one another in my opinion. It's a game that starts to feel a bit samey after very little time. Where there are options to do things in a different way that you think might effect the game, they generally don't. I'd say it's worth it for 3-5 dollars and a bit of your time, but I imagine that most people wont find themselves going back to it after one or two sessions. If you're looking for a game that will hit you hard and cause you to really think or reflect, this isn't it.

Hi, my name is Chelsea, I played the demo and I was so happy when the game released, this game surprised me more than I imagined, the comedy is great, the endings hit so close to home, the overall message and the true ending. If life is meaningless, then the meaning comes from us. We give life meaning. As someone who has been going through tough times, questioning everything, it really took me by surprise to hear that. Thank you, for this game. Please, people reading, play the game. Create your own meaning.

This is a fun game! Its not like Bitlife or sims (so don't expect that) it's kinda like a puzzle game with surprises, I just bought it today and already have 2 hours on it and cracking up at some of the endings I get and even thinking about my own life. Worth a try!

It is honestly one of the most one-dimensional games I have ever played. It tries to make a big deal about everything in the beginning by giving you a warning but it's downhill from there. The narration is canned and it repeats the same lines no matter what you do. All the "complexity" is literally pretense. You choices are very limited and there's no logic to it. It's probably the most disappointing game I have played in a while. I really thought that the choices would need to be made with some thought and care but what it really is, is a 2 hour grind to try and get all the endings if you want to hunt for achievements. Really unfortunate. Not worth the price even on sale

Though it has multiple endings it's still kinda repetitive and a drag. Idk why I didn't listen to the reviews on this one

There are certain cruelties this game that presents you with that prevent me from classifying it as fun. Within the game there are advertisements for the developers other games, and I had to reset the game (the intro sequence is waaay too long.) to escape them. The options for this game are super limited. I get there's only so much you can do with a game like this. It just feels dull and monotonous. Playing through multiple times is not rewarding at all, and this game does NOT respect your time or intellect. If you're buying this game because you watched some dude on youtube streaming it, buy it at 50% off or not at all. Trust me. There seriously is no real content here. That's not to say this was a *bad* game, simply that it was poorly executed and thought out. 69/100 Would be born with cancer again.
