  A very worthy addition to the base game impo. Basically, if you want more of Disciples: Libiration then this is it. If you're unwilling to chip in the current asking price, well get it during the coming sales or look elsewhere online for cheaper keys, as soon as they are made available. Other than that, this adds nicely to the base game which can be accessed at any point, even with a new game + in mind..

  Со времен релиза Disciples: Liberation разработчики сделали очень много исправлений и улучшений и за это им спасибо, релиз дополнения, хоть и такого небольшого тоже порадовало, но не радует одно но. На релизе игра стоила 1400 руб, сейчас уже 2300, вопрос почему и зачем? Игра не настолько грандиозная за такую то цену. Так и тут еще и дополнение Paths to Madness стоит 850 руб (по скидке в 10% 764 руб). Для российского сегмента для такого среднего проекта - это ну очень дорого. Только за такое, к сожалению, хочется поставить негативный отзыв, извините, но игра и дополнение для нее таких денег не стоит. Верните цену за оригинал 1400 и за дополнение рублей 350 тогда да.

  To be honest, I will give a Mix if Steam allows it. Pros: 1. Some references to previous titles. 2. Two decent small dungeons (and two passable ones) 3. Each factions got their refreshing new T4 unit 4. Though advertised being dark, some of the story is pretty hilarious... it's kinda like a mix between being hilariously stupid and bad humor... Cons: 1. The biggest drawback: for a DLC worth one third of the base game, I say it's too short. Way too short. 2. A minor complain: I will keey the short review spoiler-free. Let's just say there's no point asking players to seek for five obligitary opponents while having enemies they cannot conquer roaming on a no-exit map slightly bigger than the second floor of Myzreal's tower...

  Unfortunately not worth anywhere close to its asking price. First of all, it's very short - a couple of hours worth of new quests, and 4 new units that don't really have any unique mechanics. But above all, it feels very *cheap*. There are no new voicelines for Avyanna or any of the new NPCs. Most of the new units don't talk or make any sound, the one that does (Daughter of Sin) has the exact same lines as the Succubus but with a low quality filter on them. At 15€ this is insane if you compare it to a 10€ Lord Pack for Total War Warhammer 2 for instance, which adds two fully-voiced characters, a bunch of fleshed-out units and usually a unique twist on the campaign. Loop Hero is an amazing indie game and costs the same as this tiny DLC. Feels like a cash grab and as such I cannot recommend it. Even at 50% off I'd hesitate and wait for a better sale honestly.

  I am giving a positive review because it is more of something I love very much, the base game. In itself, it's not really groundbreaking. Four new units, albeit very imaginative and fun to play, several new locations with many fights, so all in all not bad. On the other hand, what I would like, as a die-hard fan, is a proper DLC with a new adventure, a new race, new game mechanics and challenges, additional units and spells and so forth. And while you are planning for the new Disciples, keep in mind to add mod support and a proper kingdom management.

  Considering that I purchased both Disciples Liberation and Paths to Madness at the same time, I simply though that Paths to Madness would start AFTER the core game was completed. Therefore, I didn't see this adding anything to the story beyond a couple of units and more time to grind/level. Maybe I've been spoiled by other games that are story-driven where DLC provides another plot twist or deepens the story. I hoped that we would find the Dwarves or a way to bring them back or at least another area of the world with multiple regions to explore and learn more about Avy's parents or the history of Nevendaar. So ultimately, this is a disappointment. As I type this it is on sale here on Steam for under ten bucks, so that seems fair for the lack of what this gives you.

  DLC was great. It consists of four Story quests, which lead trough four dungeon's. Written was as well as in the main game. The Necromancer story was the best one for me personally from the four. The new legendary weapons are mostly useless as far as i can tell. The new T4 Units are great, especially the blood ents back line ability was superb, if you play with ground units. Would definitely recommend this dlc. Was worth the money, albeit it was a bit short.

  For almost half the cost of the base game, this DLC adds about 2-3 hours of content (in the form of repetitive end-game fights) and 4 new units (which are pretty cool). Absolutely do not buy at full price.
