  Great game that is somewhat let down by the shoddy Redux port. I would highly recommend using the Raze source port in place of the Redux executable, as Redux has some issues that are difficult to work around (config settings changing on their own, mouse input latency, vertical mouse movement dead zone around the centered view point, etc). To use Raze while still launching the game normally through Steam: * extract Raze into the bin/ folder * rename sw.exe to sw.exe.bak * rename raze.exe to sw.exe

  John Williams Galt the original Lo Wang voice actor recentely passed away. I figured i'd replay again this masterpiece as a tribute. You guys should do it too. "It is natural to die." Lo Wang.

  Same fun and challenging gameplay as the original. + Politically incorrect humor has not been removed! + Modernized FPS controls including gamepad (XInput) support. + New graphics filters for smoothing out edges and widescreen displays. + Modest hardware requirements + Runs flawlessly.

  Shadow Warrior is an absolute master piece. The chinese theme is just awesome, the level design is one of the best and the weapons feel very good. And in this version of Shadow Warrior you got smoothed textures, cheevos, and multiplayer will come after some time. This game has a very unique style that you dont see anymore in new games, like, from temples to skycrapers, from trains, to mountains, hotels to vulcans. You have a wide range of levels to play, plus 2 quality made expansions. Who wants some wang?

  Basically Duke Nukem 3d's younger brother, Shadow Warrior has all the things the Duke did right (fast-paced FPS action with plenty of secrets and easter eggs and explosions), but also adds some additional elements to the mix, including driveable vehicles (which sadly only see very limited use), a much more detailed and diverse environment for you to shoot and bomb your way through, and, at least from my impression, a higher difficulty level. Very simply put, Shadow Warrior was made for the fans of Duke Nukem, so if old-school shooters float your boat and you'd always bet on Duke, then Shadow Warrior might just be the stuff you need when most 'modern' shooters are little more than one long sequence of quick-time events and have a "2DEEP4U" plot to drive them.

  Charmingly racist. Like your grandma. To be serious though, so far it plays like an even more absurd Duke Nukem. That is a good thing.

  I love Shadow Warrior, but this port/remake/version isn't great. It comes with the expansions which is nice but it has a load of technical issues. Just download the free one and a sourceport.

  Nothing else to see here... I'll keep this one as short as humanly possible. If you don't know who Lo Wang is, then you are still a baby, born late 2022 lol. Go grab your baby bottle or something... If you do know who Lo Wang is, then this is a "redux" (remaster) of the first game ever that we all played back in our old, bloated 2004 PCs that were too big and too useless. Anyways, you've got a bunch of weapons, there is absolutly no story and stages are really REALLY short... In most stages you're tasked to force your way into hordes of demons and to find a Shadow Warrior symbol to traverse to the next stage. Final stages of each campaign (sometimes even mid-campaign) you meet a silly easy boss that you're to dispose off really quickly. The original game was already so good back then, but it DID NOT age well. This redux gets 5/10; we know we know Wang doen't have white hair... or does he?
