AI Roguelite Funciones

Introducing AI Roguelite, the world's first text-based RPG where every location, NPC, enemy, item, crafting recipe, and game mechanic is 100% determined by artificial intelligence.

If you've ever played other AI "games" such as AI Dungeon and were frustrated by how they didn't feel like a game, then AI Roguelite might be the perfect game for you.

  • AI-generated entities: What weapons might you find in an underwater city? Which enemies might you find? Where else can you go from there? All these questions are answered by a GPT text generation AI, so you can explore a truly infinite world.

  • AI-generated crafting recipes: What item could you make if combining a wooden stick with a rock? What about a computer chip with a zombie brain? The AI decides which item should be produced, based on the names of the ingredients.

  • AI-generated combat: What happens when you try to attack a "terminator robot" with a "raw salmon"? There are no traditional item stats. Instead, whether an attack is successful depends entirely on its AI-generated name and description, as well as your attribute roll check (which is also AI-determined). The AI then generates a plausible story for what happens when you use it against the enemy. Finally, the AI is fed its own story, from which it tries to figure out whether the enemy was killed, injured, or unharmed.

  • AI-generated illustrations: Every entity gets an illustration generated by Stable Diffusion technology using either your GPU or the cloud.

Ok, so now I've done two lives and.. It isn't a rougelite.. Rougelites have progression between lives, this game literally kicks you back out the main menu to start another life. This is a rougeLIKE. Unless I'm missing something. Also, on my second life the game basically broke, I couldn't land a hit on the first enemy (a pedophile), and they could barely land a hit on me, so I just had to attack over and over until it eventually killed me with full hp (i tried running a few times but that didn't work so I gave up). Also the time between attacks is WAY TOO LONG, making fights boring as hell. I get that its because the AI is generating stuff, but it was literally the same text over and over, so why make it generate the same thing, just reuse the same text if its going to be the same result. It would be nice if gear said what slot it used so I didnt have to trial and error my gear to figure out what to wear. I do think this is the future of gaming, once this idea can be made into a proper 3D game, but its pretty cool as a tech demo. I reccomend this game not because it's fun, but because its a sign of future things and I think the development of this type of game should be rewarded

Waited about a half hour for it to finish downloading all of its initial stuff, then it crashed my computer so hard I had to press the power button to reboot (which I've never done with this computer in the year and a half that I've owned it, so thanks for that..). Should've been a cool concept but I was genuinely afraid it was going to destroy my hardware during that hard freeze and crash. Tested on RTX 2070 Super

I like the idea, but I was unable to play the game. The game makes you install many gigabytes worth of content after launching it in order to run the AI. My entire playtime was spent installing the AI with the game running, which runs up the playtime dangerously close to being nonrefundable. After reaching 100% installation of the AI, the game just froze at the debug screen, not allowing me to play. Restarting the game after reaching 100% AI installation forces a reinstall of the AI. I've tried using several different AI options (8gig and 16gig), but neither would finish installing after reaching 100%. Again, I have not been able to play a single moment of this game due to complications with the installation. Refunding - something's clearly broken here. I'd like to revisit this in the future.

VERY resource intensive while the AI does its thing, but where else are you going to make an old lady say "fart, farts, fart, fart," then kill a soul eating demon and gain your own corpse as a weapon? Probably nowhere else.

This is a really well made game, at first i had my regrets because of a REALLY slow load time, and a lack of interactions. But then the next day the creator patched that and added a bit of content, and since then they have added some incredible updates. This is one of the fastest growing games i have played and a must have to anyone who is able to run it.

While not as robust as AI Dungeon, this is a much cheaper alternative that is still entertaining to use while also sporting some features unique to this game, such as the tabletop UI for NPCs and locations. Some additional thoughts/observations: *The picture generation feature is really interesting and surprisingly accurate for sci-fi locations more than lifeforms. *This game could use a Do input, like AI Dungeon, rather than merely having a Say input. *You have an actual inventory where items that are generated by the AI will be stored. This is probably my favorite aspect of this versus AI Dungeon. *The AI will sometimes randomly kill you out of context (e.g., you were ordering a drink in a bar, and the AI decides to kill you for no ostensible reason). *The AI is understandably far more random than the AI encountered with apps like AI Dungeon. Still, as stated before, it's quite entertaining and different enough from the other in its own right that it's worth the purchase.

If the surreal makes you laugh, and you have a decent graphics card (works fine on my 1080ti), this game is a must-buy. In addition to the text, you also get Wombo Dream-style illustrations! They take a couple minutes to generate, but you can interact with the game while the pictures are still in progress. The music's also good, with a nice amount of variety. For my first game, I chose to be a private investigator in 1927 Chicago. I started out with a computer-generated NPC follower, Detective James Bond. Rather than ramble on about it, I'll let some of my favorite moments speak for themselves. All text is from the AI, except the parts where I've added curly braces, and some minor corrections (e.g., missing punctuation). ===== You say to the Detective James Bond, {"Let's stake out the street for a few hours and see whether we notice any guys who don't look on the level."} "Okay. But what if they're all f***ing each other? Shouldn't you at least get them all?" ===== The city council is called in to investigate, but they find nothing wrong. They do however question why someone would be shot in the head. They also wonder if it was murder or suicide. ===== You and the Detective James Bond have entered combat with the unruly children: They are young children around 10-12 years old. The boys are dressed in leather jackets and trousers. Some of them are wearing bowler hats and some have long beards. You try attacking the unruly children with your dead man. ===== unruly children attacks you with "Bad manners" and other things. You run away from them. They chase you down and throw stones at you. When you get home, your mother says that she's sorry about what happened to you. She says you'll have a hard time finding work now. You say you'll be fine. ===== You try to combine: Empty bottles, Empty water bottles. You obtain: Water flask of immortality ===== You say to the criminal underworld boss William Parmelee, {"Hey Big Bill, know anything about crimes in this area?"} "Well I do, but I'm afraid it'll be more expensive if you want to hire me." "What do you mean?" "I'm not sure yet." The AI decides that You have a new follower: criminal underworld boss William Parmelee ===== You say to the criminal underworld boss William Parmelee, {"My buddy has a mysterious job for us. Think we should take it?"} "Well, I suppose I could use the money, but what is the job?" "It's called Ghost Hunting." You explain. "We're going to go find ghosts so our clients can make deals with them." ===== {I decided to try a present-day scenario. I'd bought the Indiana country estate of Agatha Plumpers in a sheriff's auction.} He's older than his mother, having grown up with her. After graduating from college he ran into difficulties and had to move back home to live with her. They don't have any children. He's an introverted guy. Likes the outdoors. ===== They are the largest type of mammal on this planet. A flock of them is called a wool crop. All sheep are members of a species that is known as an Alpaca. The word alpaca means "tall grass." ===== The farmer is very large, but even bigger than your size. He looks like he should be wearing tight leather pants, stitched up boots, a black t-shirt, a baseball cap and carrying two shotguns. ===== Dirt patch is the name given to an area of grassy ground between two rows of trees. The term is considered slang mainly due to its use by teenagers during sports contests. ===== "My dad is going to kill me!" he wails. "Yeah, well your mom is probably gonna kill me too." You say to the their son Ben , {"And that would be a good trick for a dead lady."} You look at Ben and then back to his mother and father. They don't seem like they're enjoying the conversation. ===== The game decides that the following attack is headed towards your unprotected hands. Bad breath attacks you with "Breath spray" "Go to sleep! Get some rest," he says. "We'll be back tomorrow." You fall asleep. Next day at dawn, bad breath attacks you with breath spray. He attempts to catch you with your own weapon. ===== Bad breath starts to attack you, but the their son Ben is there. "I'll take care of him!" he shouts and runs off. The next morning you do manage to kill him. You wonder if you should have killed him when he was younger. It would have been easier. ===== You try attacking the Bad breath with your Rat trap of rat-hunting. It doesn't work. Instead of killing him you end up eating him. (Giggling) It tastes like chicken. Your mouth waters as it does so. The worst thing is, his blood tastes like rotten meat. It's an acquired taste. ===== You expertly attack the Bad breath with your wooden spoon. You use a fishing pole to get him to move. Eventually he runs away. You run after him, catching up to him just as his house is burning down. With a single blow of your axe he falls off a tower. This causes an explosion which causes many more houses to collapse. The AI decides that Bad breath was instantly defeated! ===== Well, I guess that should be enough of a sample for you to figure out whether this is your sort of thing. Me, I expect to play many more hours in many more settings.

Fun game with interesting stories that get generated, overall I have had fun playing around with the concepts of it. If you like a new frontier that isn't always perfected and really early access this is for you. If you dislike playing around with early access this may not be for you as it is still pretty early in the development, but the developer is really active so far and responsive so, for me, it is worth playing around in even if it isn't always clear or easy to figure out what to do and how to do it. I expect great things though with this and I think it has amazing potential.

This is probably the best 4.49 I've spent in a while, If I've ever spend that much on something at all. It's a really neat toy even if the images take a while to load when you move around to each level. This feels very much like a prototype but it's very fun to have a novel interface for interacting with the GPT system. It uses KoboldAI, though I haven't found how to get more models, it comes with a few, including a dumb one incase you have no Nvidia GPU, 6/8/16GB models each being the amount of VRAM required on your GPU. The stories are wacky and it can keep you entertained for sure. The music is also pretty great, though I feel like it's out of place a little when one could also have procedural music. I'd love an eclectic mix of uncanny tunes that matches the tone of the visuals and text! I feel like it needs some things, very soon... like farm support, even shared networks of players running the game and doing a peer generation setup? Eventually, I hope to see it running current generation AI image generation and it'll probably need a lot of processing power to get there. When the process is calculating iterations, If there is anything to see, put in the placeholder instead between iterations, it might be nice to have that shown as a trippy status indicator. I think I've seen iterative flow videos of Dall-e before, it would be nice if it didn't cost any of the generation time, or a small fraction of it to have something happening. It would probably look neat also. It's a reasonable price for a very novel AI experience.

On my adventure, I visited many places and met many characters. I ate at a place called the "Spicy Tuna Snack Shack" where the owner was nice enough to give me a spicy tuna roll for free. Joe the Cook was a cool guy too. Two of the items I found on my journey were a "holy book from which great power can be obtained" as well as a bible. They sat in my inventory for quite some time. Later on I discovered an amusement park. Not just any amusement park - an amusement park that held a legendary boss named the "Fun Land." After battling it and throwing some of the drinks at it that I got from the Spicy Tuna Snack Shack, I knew it wasn't enough. This amusement park, Fun Land, had over 5,000 health! Then I thought, "Why not just throw my 'holy book from which great power can be obtained' at it?" Upon doing so, Fun Land was shocked by my action, and apologized for attacking me, asking for forgiveness. But it just kept on fighting me! ... So, I decided to throw my bible at it. That killed it.
