  I launch from the TS3W.exe to bypass the launcher, which apparently means that my hours in-game aren't counted anymore so lol. Anyway, this pack is complete utter garbage. No amount of begging will make me even touch anything from this pack ever again. It works fine for a while until it suddenly ends up making you feel like you need to set your computer on fire to redeem it. I'd skip this if I were in the past. It's not like the world or the other content is worth the money anyway.

  Its great! Probably My favorite sims 3 pack ever! Almost all of the big features in this pack aren't in the sims 4 counterpart and its half the price. It doesn't work well unless you use overwatch tho.

  Its hilarious that this is at such negative reviews considering this dlc is incredible and game changing. Irony because once again the community fixes something EA utterly botches with grimey Simoleons loving ways. Wanted a new vacation spot? never. Want an amazing house boat setup for your town? Get fucked. A simple console command and mod Nras traveler gives you it all. now you get the ability to make ports in all cities and travel anywhere you desire including Isle Paridso an epic travel spot. how fucking dumb does ea have to be honestly -Travel- https://www.nraas.net/community/Traveler -Build ports anywhere- 1. open the console with ctrl+shift+c 2. type the codes in testingcheatsenabled true buydebug 3. place a lot over an island, partly over land and part over the water. you need atleast a 40/40 lot or higher to place the house boat item (gangway style) properly 4. go into buy mode and choose the "by function" tab (that would be the grid looking options) 5. above the grid section you will see a "?", click on this and it will open up a new set of items for you to use 6. choose the misc. section (the 3 circles at the end of the section tabs), use the filter to only look up Island paradise items. 7. choose the "Gangway Style" item and place it at the end of the dock. you may have to play around with it a while before you find a proper place to put it. Also make sure the boat has enough room to move around so it can actually enter the port.

  The cheaper houseboats are way too small for a fresh household, though that may just be my taste. It's also absolutely disgusting that I needed to search the depths of a discord server to fix the lag. If anyone is curious, I used the smooth patch and https://modthesims.info/d/665907/reduce-remove-lag-caused-by-houseboats.html this mod, which completely eliminated all lag. I also find it really annoying that I can't create mermaids or mermen in create a sim, despite having the Supernatural Expansion installed. Other than those issues it's good, Isla Paradiso is a beautiful island and I recommend this expansion if you're willing to go through the extra hoops of setting up mods for the game to run without having a fucking aneurysm.

  I know a lot of people have exprienced preformance issues and lag with this expansion pack, but i myself fortunately havent faced any issues. The coolest thing in this pack is the houseboats where you can actually live on the water. Customizing your floating home is really fun, finding the perfect balance between practicality and fancy. If you like running your own business you'll love the resorts. You can run and design your own resort from scratch and you can also pick a resort management career trait. Along with this pack also comes the new island location and activities like scuba diving and another career trait as a lifeguard. If you got rich enough from selling paintings, this serves as a good vacation spot for your simmers.

  I would recommend it if you enjoy resorts and boat activities, but be aware that the world itself has some bugs. However, it does work overall. Just avoid playing in Isla Paradiso. https://forums.thesims.com/en_us/discussion/811253/removing-ip-lag << If you still want to play in this world, you can download a fixed Isla Paradiso save file. It has been working perfectly for me.
