COD Mobile has always been the best action shooter franchise of all time for different ages. It has three main modes which are multiplayer (MP), battle royale (BR), and zombie mode. After a year of disappearance, COD mobile fans started to request to bring back the zombie mode over again. The devs listened to them and brought back this nostalgia with the fact that they made it permanent like other modes. Without further ado, this article will show you the introduction to zombie mode of COD Mobile, descriptions and discussions to all modes, zombies, bosses, and best loadouts along with the tips and strategies to defeat zombies, bosses, and level up faster.
What is Zombie Mode in COD Mobile, Maps, and its Modes
Another mode of COD Mobile is called zombies mode in which you battle against different types of zombies and undead enemies. This mode first appeared in Call of Duty: World at War. It suggests a multiplayer battle where you and your teammates have to survive in limited and unlimited waves of zombies.
There is only one map in COD Mobile which is inspired by Call of Duty: World at War that was released in 2008. Shi No Numa located in Japan is a muddy and dark type of place. This map offers more types of enemies and a play area in which you can spend lots of time playing with your friends. However, the modes of this map are more and it consists of:
- Tutorial: COD Mobile will give you this opportunity to give you a try on killing different types of zombies, knowing the map better, and how to survive by barricading the walls and windows and where to find vending machines to get enhancements.
- Normal: As the title says, this mode is the normal one with 8 waves that let you kill limited zombies and take down the last ultimate zombie.
- Hardcore: This mode has 12 waves including hidden secret missions namely Jubokko, Teddy Bear, Radios, Frying Pan, and Meteor. By completing these easter eggs you will get max ammo rewards and switching Abomination as the regular boss to Jubokko as well.
- Endless: What COD Mobile added to complete the modes collection is the unlimited waves of zombies so that you can spend more time to get more rewards and even level up your gun until you surrender yourself.
Directions on All Easter Eggs and Jubokko Boss
To get all of the easter eggs in COD Mobile and fight with Jubokko as the alternative to Abomination, you need to play normal mode and then the hardcore mode will be unlocked. These easter eggs can be obtained through the hardcore mode. There are 4 more easter eggs than Jubokko final boss which are Teddy Bear, Meteor, Radios, and Frying Pan.
You can follow the steps below in order to get all of the Shi No Numa’s easter eggs:
- Jubokko: At first sight, there will be a light in front of your profile’s name. By seeing the guide map, you will see that you should first get 2 elevator parts to fix it. There you can find them while coming down the stairs, the place at which you first respawn to the game.
After coming down from the elevator, you may head to the underground lab in which you must take a left and then find the way through the door until you see the green glass tubes in which some seed respawns over there. Read the experiment document first and start shooting those seeds until they stop respawning. You’re almost done. Last part is to use the control panel to activate the Jubokko easter egg. But the boss will not appear until the last wave, so you need to gear up and use powerful weapons and perks to take the boss down.
- Teddy: There is one main hut in which you respawn at the very first game and 4 other side huts. Find those teddy bears in those huts by opening all of its doors and look for them outside the windows. This side quest makes the mystery boxes cost 400 points.
- Meteor: You can find this quest at the north west part of the map. By firing the meteor on the rock and spawning the skulls, you get the max ammo reward.
- Radio: There are 5 radios that you must shoot at each radio until you get the related reward as well. Remember that the 5th radio is in the lab where you have found the control panel to activate Jubokko boss and the others are at each side huts.
- Frying Pan: Same as radios and teddies, you can find 4 frying pans in each side huts. By shooting at them at any order, max ammo would be the reward.
Guide to Level Up Faster and Gun Recommendation
The season five of COD Mobile expanded the max levels of profiles up to 300 in that it takes much time to get this far. Zombie mode, the same as BR has this ability to rank up quickly by playing more than 20 minutes in the lobby. But there can be three factors you should have in mind in order to level up faster. One factor is playing solo in either normal or hardcore mode which gives you all of the points directly to yourself since there are no other teammates helping you on this matter. Second one is killing zombies and getting a 2x point reward which makes your points double. Last one is to play a solo while getting those double points in endless mode. However, using skill modules during the fight would increase the points as well.
There are various weapons COD Mobile offers in the game to pick randomly. You can get any 12 off-wall weapons and the mystery boxes plus vending machines to use them in order to level up faster. These varieties range from SMGs to shotguns, ARs, and LMGs. It is said that playing on zombie mode requires more ammo to take down a horde of undead enemies. In this case it is recommended that LMGs are the top guns because of holding more ammunition.
Different Types of Zombies, Their Strengths, and Weaknesses
In every wave of COD Mobile zombie mode, there will be 4 different zombies that their strengths and weaknesses will be discussed here:
- Hellhound: These types of dogs are termed mechanical hellhounds as well. Their strength is that they can run faster and come towards you while running out of ammo. However, they can be easily destroyed because they have low health compared to other zombies appearing in the COD Mobile’s zombie mode.
- Brutus: COD Mobile devs made this type of zombie by high hp and faster movement which it is hard to aim at. Besides, they have a surprise attack in that they will come towards you quickly to take you down. But one thing a player can do is to aim at their heads while running away when reloading.
- Inferno: This type of zombie in COD Mobile has slower movement but higher hp. There advantages players have is to shoot them continuously while they get closer so that they will be slayed easily.
- Avogadro: This type of electrical zombie which COD Mobile offers is its teleporting feature in which it runs aways once it deals high damage so that it can appear somewhere else.
Apart from these, normal zombies, Abomination, and Jubokko are considered to appear in COD Mobile zombie mode as well. The first one is always present in the whole waves. The other two are the bosses that are in the last wave and you must take them down in order to get the victory.
How to Survive Each Round and How to Use Weapons and Equipment Effectively
Zombie mode in COD Mobile consists of 8 to more than 12 waves. By knowing the weak spots of zombies, you can now kill as much as you can. Moreover, there are some perks and power-ups, which you can see in the next section, that help to destroy enemies effectively. In case you are playing with your teammates, covering teammates in long range by Sniper Rifles and LMGs can help you finish the round so quickly. Besides, there is a vending machine at the hut which can help you buy your own custom weapon and use a level 3 vest with 3 more armour on top. Using trip mines and sticky grenades which are rechargeable in less than a second along with sentry guns and death machines will help not only level faster but also get so many points in every wave.
Different Perks and Power-ups and Using Them to Gain Advantage
There are four machines in COD Mobile zombie mode that can help you power up fast. Perk-a-Cola Machine, Pack-a-Punch, Coin Dispenser, and vending machine.
There, you can find several perks and power-ups in COD Mobile which are as follows:
- Electric Cherry: COD Mobile implemented a shock wave around players in which it helps them reload in no time.
- Stamin-Up: It increases players' speed in movement and helps them to sprint longer than before.
- Deadshot Daiquiri: This perk will help you to aim precisely and accurately on zombies' upper body, especially the head. It also decreases a weapon's recoil as well.
- Double Tap: COD Mobile's zombie mode offers a perk that enhances the fire power and adds one more bullet per shot.
- Speed Cola: It makes the reload faster.
- Quick Revive: One more self-revive will be added to your gameplay. It also reduces the time when reviving your teammate.
- Juggernog: This perk in COD Mobile will make you invincible by adding more hp on your overall health.
How to Communicate and Work as a Team with Other Players Effectively
What COD Mobile in zombie mode and other two modes implemented is the voice chat in which you can talk to your teammate in order to get victory. Voice chat, reviving your teammates, covering each other’s back are few features that you can use in COD Mobile’s zombie mode. Moreover, sharing information such as the exact place of defeating enemies, and using tactics to get them down quickly will be another way of communication that helps complete all of the waves quickly.
Different Bosses and How to Defeat
There are two different bosses in COD Mobile’s zombie mode. Abomination and Jubokko. The first one appears in the last wave of both normal and hardcore mode. However, the other one will appear only in the hardcore mode with the exception that you need to unlock it by completing the quests of easter eggs which is explained in this article.
COD Mobile includes wide varieties of weapons that offer in zombie mode in which you can use to finish your game. But how to finish these two bosses that have lots of damage? First thing to do is to shoot at their weak spots, which is the head that takes lots of damage. Using a skill module will help as well. In addition to that, when they are approaching you, you can slide and dodge so that you won’t get hit. Use the off-wall weapons and SMRS around the circle area which helps you take them down quickly. It is worth mentioning the best weapons regardless of the customised ones are RPD, and AK47 which has high damage and ammunition compared to other weapons. Apart from that, SKS, SVD, and Jak-12 have higher damage when shooting at their cores. In the next section, we will show you how they can be more effective.
Best Weapons and Loadouts and Their Effectiveness for Zombie Mode
All of the weapons in COD Mobile’s zombie mode are the same when damaging the zombies but some are slightly different when dealing with other zombies that have higher hp. What players in COD Mobile’s zombie mode need is a weapon with higher damage, fire rate, ammunition so that you not only kill so many zombies but also defeat the ultimate bosses in either normal or hardcore modes. However, there are four top weapons that let you have these features plus the related build of these weapons are attached to them as well:
- RPD: This LMG that COD Mobile offers is the best weapon when encountering both zombies and bosses. LMGs are known for their ammunition and this gun is no exception. Having a moderate fire rate with lots of ammunition helps you spray enemies effectively.
- Jak-12: This gun acts the same as LMGs with the fact that you can shoot the enemies in the close range with the highest damage. COD Mobile was successful in this type of gun which can reload your gun faster unlike other shotguns such as BY15 and HS0405.
- SKS: Marksmans have higher damage in long ranges. SKS is considered to be the top weapon that has a fairly high fire rate and which can take down bosses so easily. Although COD Mobile devs nerfed this weapon in the earlier seasons, it still has its own power in taking down an enemy in a dog fight.
- SVD: By far the most high accuracy sniper rifle in COD Mobile which has higher upper chest damage than any other weapons discussed here. This weapon is viable in dealing with Abomination and Jubokko in the last wave by shooting at the weak spots.
