  I work as a Grocery Department Manager at a Supermarket and I hate it. I somehow have played this game past when I normally go to sleep multiple times because I don't realize how long I have been playing it. I may be mentally ill but I will make the best Supermarket ever

  Abandonware. If you have OCD you will hate trying to put displays down as there isn't a way to put down shelves with a snap grid. Terrible rate system that you have to have a certain score to buy some items, regardless of how much money you have. Hasn't been updated in forever, as I've come to learn the devs put out games just to get the money and basically run and move onto a new game. It really doesn't feel like the devs care about the games they make, and this game could be AMAZING if they continue to add more features, but they are more worried about putting out new games and dumping old ones. I have literally no reason to ever return to this game unless they do more with it. $20 seems like a lot to ask for considering its abandoned, and I didn't even get 30 hours of play out of it. They were updated quite often when it came out (which is when I bought it) but then updates stopped happening. They put out the new map which honestly wasn't what the game needed most, but that was the last the devs ever updated the game. And that was in August. I don't want to dislike this game or the devs, but its hard not to when you follow their discord and all mentions of the game are only about sales and they focus purely on new games for the short while they update them (which, their update page in Discord tells you all you need to know about what I'm talking about). PLEASE UPDATE THIS GAME, PLEASE GIVE ME A REASON TO ENJOY IT AGAIN. Thank you for reading. ***EDIT: (Feb 22nd, 2022)*** Yesterday, I commented on a post from T.L.S. announcing the discount, and I pointed out how they no longer update the game (and of course, are releasing T.L.S. 2 at some point). Now, I was banned from posting. The reason given? "Respect." Granted, I could've worded it nicer, and I would quote myself here but I can't access the specifics of what I actually said since the post is deleted. But can you blame me for being upset that these devs dumped the game? No wonder why they are selling it for TWO DOLLARS. I wish I could still return it but that ship is sailed. They have yet to put any updates since my initial review, so yeah, this game is a goner. Absolutely STAY AWAY from these devs. They will make what appears to be a good game, but give it two to three months and it'll be dumped like a two dollar....you get the idea. Thanks for coming to my TEDx Talk (I'm not good enough for an actual TED Talk but I've made my peace with that). As stated before, it was abandoned QUICKLY. But don't take my word for it. I went through every game that DNA Army has put out, and the following list is the last update/hotfix last applied to the game. I specify if it's a hotfix or update, and if it's a hotfix I will also specify if there's another actual update or if there was never a true update to the game. The games that only came out a month ago is definitely somewhat excusable, but their track record really tells you how it'll likely go. And the best part is? Trader Life Simulator, their most highly rated game, was abandoned, and is getting a 'sequel.' I firmly believe it's because of this reception is why this is happening. They found a 'good game' (which it isn't, it needed far more updates) and are now going to capitalize on it by making a second, nicer looking game. STAY AWAY from these devs at all cost and DO NOT give them your money. If you really think a game of theirs could be good, DO THE FOLLOWING: 1) Look at the date of release (I would wait a minimum of six months given the abandon time previously listed) 2) View the update news and see how often it's updated 3) Look at the reviews, and see how many of them seem legitimate and thought out enough to be reviews. I hope this review is the cautionary tale I wanted it to be. I got Trader Life Simulator the day it went out because it looked great. It was fun enough to play (back when you thought it was going to keep updating) but here we are. Thanks for reading!

  DO NOT BUY. This developer, DNA ARMY GAMING, has released seven different titles in the last 17 months. This is the only title with a positive review score, but don't let that fool you. It's bare-bones in concept. The UI is horrible, models are mediocre, and the game seems to be designed to maximize wasting the player's time so they don't have an opportunity to realize that there's no actual goal or endgame. This game is merely a time waster. If you want a game with any depth at all, don't buy this or any other game from DNA ARMY GAMING.

  This game showed promise when I first picked it up, but the developers left it in an unfinished state and are just shovelling out more unfinished software. Make no mistake, these are shovelware developers and they don't care about the quality of their games, or their customers, just as long as they got your money. Stay away from this game and stay away from any other game by this developer.

  I must say, this game is quite fun. Although I miss a few things to make the game even more advanced with running your own shop. Like for example; create your own labels, set prices, set discounts, people walk around the store grab it, go to the cash register and then walk out. Instead of just spawn at the cash register and disappear. If they were to implement those things. It would be so much more fun running your own store. Driving physics is quite bad but it does the job. Missing women. Wish the tutorial was a bit better to explain all of the keys and actually gives your a small info to get you started with info about it all works. But other than that. It's quite good. Fun part about this game is; What I do in the game except for ordering is exactly what I do at my IRL work. I love it. Things I would love to see as an upcoming update to the game would be: Ability to extend your business, like after you've grown your business name and earned enough money, you can purchase more buildings to open more shops. Customize them to its full potential. Beside editing the name, color. Let us create us/choose a logo. More verity of customers. Both females and males around the store. I wish that the customers would be able to walk around the store, pick their items that they wish to purchase with their basket in their hand. As they are picking up an item, they should play an animation. Adding the item to the basket. Customers will be able to create a line when they are ready to pay for their items. Cash registers would also be able to be updated via the laptop. From what it is now to more advanced versions. Longer. Create different signs, labels all around the store. Add more staff members to do your bidding. You should be able to talk to them by interacting to them, like saying "Hi, how are you?, Hi, Do this "Insert to do list", Fire, promote Staff members." Create more things via the laptop, like create different labels, signs, update prices to your liking, customer limit, etc. Being able to review your inventory via laptop, see what goes more than other items, able to make items via laptop to be auto ordered when it's getting out of stock. Make the storage much bigger. I should be able to do any task that needs to be done in the store. Like Sitting at the cash register. Customers should also be able to interact with you or any other employee to ask questions of like, "where is "this" item, When does it expire?, What are your business hours?, Do you do home deliveries?," Should also be able to add your own business hours, like We're open through 6:30-23 etc. And a sign should be placed outside near the entrance with the hours. You should be able to update Laptop to a stationary PC, and more.

There is no functional map where you can actually see where you are, no gps, no keybind settings and you have to press "done" after opening every hud interaction, which I find very annoying, the game is not worth the full price at all, it looks and feels like a $1 to "free to play" game They want the game to have complexity, they want you to have a home and "go to work", fix and fill your car but is just something completely horribly executed, you have a "food" need, but you cannot eat or make food at home, you have to buy food somewhere very far away in the map, then you have the "dirty" need, which they give you no tutorial saying that you need to go to the end of the world and buy a bathtub, nor give you an already furnished home with at least a shower, they want you to magically guess what you gotta do plus if you are "dirty" for example, you can't run, which makes absolutely no sense. It's hard to make money and it feels more like a scuffness survival simulator than a "trader simulator." The concept is good, it could be likable and addicting but it's very poorly executed.

  Great game when it came out, but the devs shove out games like this and don't update. Its been since Oct 16 2021 since the last update, its now march 9th 2022. If you get this game, enjoy it but know you wont get help from devs on the community page.

  This game is a 'put things on the shelf' simulator. Only you never have to buy any shelves, the ground or stacking on top of each other works just fine. The game NEVER remembers where you put things for sale, or lets you hire a stocker person! You spend 99% of your time being the stocker. Once your store gets decent business your character no longer gets to sleep- you will need those hours to restock, even though you are restocking the whole time the store is open as well. You can not set your prices. Your vendor to buy goods from changes his prices randomly. Electronics vender you need to unlock by making your customer happy in order to buy from him. Money exists in three types, two of which are only used for one thing, but hey- you wanted to do more tedious stuff for no good reason, right? You have to eat, bathroom, and shower. You can NOT eat your food, you have to buy from one of two other venders- even though you have apples, chips etc at your store. You are too stupid to eat an apple or banana. Your car uses gas up. The gas gauge never changes on the car- you have to inspect the car to see if it needs gas. The car also needs repair. No you can not buy a different car. You can not take shortcuts through the trees, invisible walls will stop you even though you can easily see the road on the other side. When you save then load your character is at home again.
