  It is a very good classic survival horror in first person. Puzzles ARE mostly logical, but hard either way. Enemies hurt, ammo is scarce but not too scarce. It delivers the seemingly long lost feelings. ...but man, sometimes it can be really crap kicking. And i'm not even talking about a couple of extremely cryptic puzzles made for early access to later parts of the game. Anyway, it's good. I personally even prefer it to waaaaay too stressful and much more demanding Total Chaos.

  While I normally dislike the idea of paying for a mod, dismantled does stand out well and feels like a classic survival horror in first person. Contains 2 modes, one that is very NSFW and one that censors some of the body horror and nudity. That balancing is a bit screwy and the puzzles suck but the atmosphere is good and is quit tense. Worth the few bucks for a top quality mod.

  I played 9 hours of that game some years back and didn't finish it because I was getting frustrated with the puzzles. I wanted to continue right now but my save is corrupted and there is no f*c*ing way I start from scratch. Dismantled is a pretty cool game, I like the monster designs, the atmosphere, the combat but I can't stress enough how much I HATE how cheap the puzzles are. If you like watching youtube videos just to progress you will love this. You know how point and click games can be cheap with pixel hunting? This game is that kind of cheap, a good example is the first puzzle you will have to do. You have to enter a code in a clock like xx:xx . So you expect that there will be a clock somewhere with the hour as the code, nope. You look at the notes you collected and try to see if there is hours, nope, you try other numbers on the notes, nope. The code is painted in red in a room but you have to be in a precise location and look at a precise angle just to f*c*ing see it. In that room there is blood everywhere might I add to camouflage it. So there was no hint for that puzzle and they expect you to look the whole map just to find it. It's been a long time I didn't play this but I remember there was a lot of puzzles as cheap as that and it was really getting on my nerves. There is people that beat that game in 4 hours because they looked at youtube and every other reviews have 15 to 30 hours of playtime because the puzzles are f*c*ing retarded and do not respect youre time at all. Can't believe this game have that much positive reviews, avoid like plague.

  Yeah, that was worth my time. Creepy, weird and hard. Had fun figuring the map out and exploring around chased by cheetah women with tits hanging out. DLC was cool too.

  The game idea is good. The main problem is unbalanced difficulty, badly designed puzzles and saving system. Enemies are really strong, while health pickups and opportunities to save the game are really limited. This problem causes frustration to arise lots of times. I couldn't focus on the plot because I got stuck many times on overpowered enemies or had to watch youtube in order to progress through the story. The main plus of this game is the visual retro style and sprites. Still, some of the areas felt really empty, such as roof with the first boss or the yard with the trapped girl. Some more 2d sprites would fit here really well, as well as more 3d objects. Besides that there is nothing much more to mention. Since the game is pretty cheap you can give it a try, but don't expect too much. Even tho I see passion in this project, it still needs to be polished.

  This game is extreme, and I love how gritty and horror movie like it is, as a survival horror game this one is a masterpiece. my hours are not reflected correctly due to my offline play

  A great, giant Doom map that has a Resident Evil 1 vibe sprinkled with lots of gore. A fantastic retro-horror-FPS game.

  Just ran around like a headless chicken not knowing what to do, then tried something and got killed for it and the game expects me to redo everything from the beginning, no thanks.
