Great game and it's going in the right direction. The network takes inspiration from multiple japanese railway companies. For example the safety system is inspired by Keikyu Corporation, but the trains are inspired by the Odakyu Railway.

//// Pros

The scoring system is great and adds extra layer of enjoyment, similar to Densha de GO! games. But with a more realistic driving experience more akin to BVE trainsim.
The One Handle Master Controller by Zuiki (For the Densha de GO Hashiro on the switch) works natively out of the box without the need for extra plugins!
The routes have great functional details that rail fans like myself apreciate, having the information displays that update in real time on stations, these show timetables, arrival times, even the warning non stopping trains with announcements both in trains and stations.
It's made in Unity, is well optimized and looks great despite not being photorealistic.
The conductor on the back is animated and its a cool detail.
Local and Express Services
Interior of trains is illuminated when (going inside tunnels, dark areas)
There's nighttime.
Didnt found any annoying bugs.
UPDATED Having passengers on stations and trains, they are also animated boarding and unboarding.
//// Improvements

The sounds overall are great however some need a bit more polish. (Fade INs and OUTs when enabling or cutting off power or circuit breaker noise to help the transition, flange on tighter curves, track joint sounds, when idle/stopped, being able to hear the air conditioned, electric hum for example.)
In some sections the train vibrates weirdly and seems to be made out of plastic, specially in curves or at low speed, seems unstable, would be cool to have a more smooth motion and cab sway like BVE.
Would be great if there was banking/superelevation on curves.
The speed limit signs are too tiny.
Having a free camera
Road vehicles to make the scenary more vivid.
//// Final thoughts I'm glad to see this genre being reborn :), I hope the creator keeps development and releases the complete game. The route is rather short at the moment with only 6 stops. It's great so far. I recommend it, specially for those into Japanese rail systems.

    As of 2022/06/23 The game received a new update to allow for "Conductor mode" which is a very welcome addition, this allows you to play the role of the train conductor, safety checks, door opening,etc. A wonderful and unique option that I've not seen in games before. Fun but a little odd - this is a rail sim that seeks to capture the Japanese commuter rail system. It does a pretty good job at this; specific stop points, timing, ride quality, etc. The recordings for the PA system at stations as well as the conductor are immersive and add to the enjoyment of the game. One major downside is the limited amount of routes available, one main line can be travelled in either direction. With time and hopefully some expansion of the rail network, this could be a great Japanese commuter rail sim. If possible I'd like to have more engagement with the controls & train itself; currently many of the buttons in the cabin cannot be interacted with, which is one upside to the Wakayama line in TS20xx. More hardcore train-sim drivers will find the contents lacking compared with other software, but the general simplicity of the design makes for a smoother experience with more 'arcadey' controls. Overall, probably about as close to the Densha-de-Go arcade game we'll get on PC for now, but definitely more limited in content. Fun for the Japanese novelty that I think is sorely lacking in other Train sims (e.g. the Wakayama & Sakurai lines in TS20xx) Also the dev seems to have a VTuber channel, I'm not familiar with this culture but it's interesting, you can watch the game there.

    There are very few games these days that grab you instantly, Train Crew Prologue is one of them. A fine balance of gameplay and simulation, coupled with a hit Japanese VGM soundtrack, and simple, clean graphical charm. Train Crew Prologue is in rare air, at the pinnacle of train simulation and gameplay. Forget humdrum railroad simulators which feel like a job; pick up this beauty and let the sea air of Tatehama ruffle your immaculate drivers uniform.

    When the first EA came out, I was led to believe the full version will be the full line with at least 50km of track. Now they changed the plan so the full version will only be 9.6km+6km extension. What's worse it's that they plan to sell another short extension as DLC! Jesus christ who gave you the confidence to scam people this way? You make Dovetail games look like angels in comparison! A glorified BVE5 route made using the free version of Unity Engine. Nothing bad but you are no TSW2 or Hmmsim in the graphics department. I would not recommend spending $15 on a short train sim with subpar graphics

    I've never been so excited to hit the stop-line within 8cm, of a four-car EMU at a fictional station on a fictional railroad. I've never flipped out so hard when I overshoot the next station by 3.2 meters and end up behind schedule. I've never been so endeared to a little train sim so quickly. Conductor mode absolutely smacks. It's a game for every type of railfan. It's got scenarios for every skill level, a neat little signalling system to learn. It's so clear there is so much love pumped into this game it's easily worth the money.

    The graphics may not be stellar, but a lot of work has gone into this game still under work. A lot of potential, and I am looking forward for the route expansion and game's development.
