  This game is a hidden gem among the deep heart of steam's heart. Half Life 2 Deathmatch throws all the HL2 weapons and throws you in an amazing selection of maps to fight in. This game is the lovely old deathmatch styled games. You either kill, or be killed! No hiding like games nowdays. You are the man, the badass, the Shit. Skill is everything, not some weapon you need to buy for 5 dollars. Half Life 2 Deathmatch takes the badassness to the next level. You get to throw toilet bowls at each other with the gravity gun and get to time frags like a boss. Sadly, the fans of deathmatches aren't as popular as the past. So recommend this piece of badassery to your friends. 10/10 Can shoot toilet bowls

  It's actually kinds charming hearing the 60+ year olds talking on the mic about watering their garden and taking their dogs on a walk. 10/10 game.

  I give this game a rating of This Exists/10. If you like the guns from Half-Life 2 and you want to create a server to run around and shoot your friends or random people on the internet with them, have at it. No microtransactions, no in-your-face lootboxes, no special events, just selecting a generic character model and running around and shooting your friends with the guns from Half-Life 2. There aren't going to be thousands of people playing this game with hundreds of servers to choose from... but I found at least two or three public servers up with 9 or 10 people in them at 1 AM on a Monday morning, so I'm sure you can find SOMEONE to play with if you don't have any friends. Stopped playing because it was 2 AM on a Monday morning and also because my screen froze when I went under a staircase. Apparently the advanced hiding under a staircase physics were too much for the old girl to handle. Wasabi Oreo/10. This exists.

  Yes. Ok, I guess you expected more than one word. Remember how a lot of modern games that get released are total sh!t? Remember how many of the old games we used to have have been "updated" and now SUCK? HL2 Deathmatch is immune to this. It carries on, unchanged and adamant. It will provide you the exact same entertainment as it did nearly 2 decades ago, only enhanced by modded maps and other things created over the years by it's die-hard fans. Never change, HL2 Deathmatch, you are a relic of the past, and the fact you have remained unchanged all these years allows me to return to the glory days of the 2000's and the amazing games that constantly got released in that period of time.
