  Overall pretty enjoyable, though balancing seems a little off. It can be quite hard to get 3 stars on later maps if the hero you like to use isn't one of the strong ones. Also a bunch of tower upgrades seem to be mostly worse than the other option, so often times you keep building the same towers and general structure, since they're just straight up better than the other upgrade path. Also since heros need to level up by playing them it can be a little annoying if you're stuck on a map and want to try a different one, since it'll take a while to get them to level 10. Depending on the number of stars you've collected, you may also upgrade your towers and abilities overall. The problem with that is that certain maps are very hard to get to 3 stars on the first try, but become much easier after you've maxed out all your abilities. So, overall the balance seems to be off in a bunch of places, but it's still a fun Tower Defense game overall.

  Third time's the charm, as they say and this game proves it. They actually managed to hit the balance quite right. I assume this was also first a mobile game, but this one no longer feels like it was stripped of the P2W mechanic and actually works as intended full product. You can use multiple different units to achieve the same goal, unlike the previous games in the series where you could only use one or two different "presets" to win. Hopefully they kept this for Vengeance and continue doing it for newer games.

  if you liked the other games, you'll like this one too arguably the best kingdom rush game, also the kingdom rush game with the best enemy designs (least terrible enemy designs)

  This is the first KR title I felt was so uninspired. Just blah. Other KR titles (Origins / Frontiers) I had > 400 hrs played. This one has me struggling to even care to finish it.

  Fresh & fun! A must buy! The game offers a lot of variety and stands out from the previous ones by a big margin because of the amount of creativity and effort put into it. It is clear that the developers know what they're doing with the series! The only downside is that its a bit shorter than its predecessors (Only a few missions shorter, not so much).

  Probably the best tower defense game I have played. So many conveniences and a quickstart VERY simple game to start and get into immediately. It's a tower defense game. It has Gnolls. Buy it.

  If I had to rank the three Kingdom Rush Games I would do so in the following order 1) Kingdom Rush Frontiers 2) Kingdom Rush Origins 3) Kingdom Rush 4) Kingdom Rush Vengeance Origins and frontiers are both very very good. The only reason I would put origins below frontiers is due to more towers having RNG effects, and the fact that the towers themselves are a bit less interesting in my opinion than the ones from frontiers. I still highly recommend this game! Very fun

  I love the Kingdom Rush games so much. They are well balanced tower defense games, and I couldn't wait to throw a little money on the developers again. Also, the humour is great!

  All three Kingdom Rush games are basically the same kind of tower defense and are absolutely essential purchases for anyone that loves tower defense games. You simply will not find better value for money in the genre. The art is charming, the design is rational, there are plenty of strategies that will win each level (in all 3 KR games Veteran is the only difficulty that offers any resistance), and there are several small improvements and changes from the previous two (very similar) games in the series. The bottom line is that games the quality of Orcs Must Die 1/2 and all 3 Kingdom Rush games just aren't that common in the tower defense genre. I've put over 400 hours into both the original KR and KRF and I'm sure I'll put that kind of time into Origins eventually. It's great fun with very much more of the same, and sometimes, when you're a huge fan of a series, that's all you want.
