  wow guys, i really overcooked playing this game. i got to level 5 and it just shit all over me. ME AND MY FRIEND COULDNT PLAY CAUSE HER SETTINGS WOULDNT WORK CAUSE YOUR BAD AND YOU ARE DUMB. THE THEME SONG AFTER 3 MINUTES MAKES ME GO INSANE. LET ME OVERCOOK PLEAASE. I DONT WANT TO UNDERCOOK. LET ME PLAY WIT FRIENDS. Ghost Town Studios you may bow to me and suck on my uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh bal. bye bye!

  It is a lovely and fun game. But I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT recommend playing on PC. The control is horrible and you are not able to customize the key mapping. This game although simplistic, does require some precise control to get through the levels, and my god was it frustrating when you get dragged down due to poor control on keyboard. For the record, I bought 1 & 2 and all DLCs on Switch afterwards (yes I know waste of money but I figured I should give it a second chance), and the experience was SO MUCH BETTER! I cleared all hidden levels there.

  Not for fun-casual gaming. If you're playing with a not-gaming-gifted partner or partners just to have some fun progressing through the story while enjoying some kitchen chaos and trying to stay friends along the way, I have some bad news. There is a progression cap. You MUST get a certain number of stars to keep progressing through levels and story. So you will likely have to redo levels just to improve score to eek out 1 more star to get to the next level on your path. Not my idea of fun unfortunately. If you can pass a level with 1 star, you should get to keep going imo.

  So let me get this straight, this game claims to be multiplayer. So I thought that meant I could play it with steam friends over internet. Guess not, which really annoys me.

  A frantic yet jolly cooperative reminder of how many cooks can indeed spoil the broth.. The gameplay revolves around serving evermore complicated orders in a restaurant franchise run by an onion and his dog.. If that sounds insane each and every chapter throws in new challenges such as teleportation mirrors, elevators or serving on moving trucks, all for added chaos, mayhem and amusement. Clever planning and order can save most of the days and if you are looking for a challenge this game serves it a plenty. Now, if you know what kind of bedlam you are getting into and love serving dishes under utter and complete anarchy this is just the game for you but I guess it might be too intense for some players. Also this game is pure coop, don't fool yourself thinking you will ever solo it..

  This game is without a doubt great for (local) multiplayer, but not great for single player. Even though I bought it for online multiplayer (which it doesn't have, but that's my bad), and I had to try it out on my own, I can tell from what little I played that this is a great game with great design overall. Playing single player is certainly possible, but it's clearly not designed for it. I was planning on refunding it but I figure the devs could use the money to work on online multiplayer, which it sorely needs. So there. Still giving a positive recommendation for people who can play local co-op.

  I'm playing this with my wife (non gamer), 13 year old son (not really into gaming), 9 year old daughter (loves games) and we are having a blast. My wife actually suggested that we play the game today. That is so weird to me. Anyway, very fun couch co-op game.
