  A game that sadly could've been a masterpiece. Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying this game is bad. No, definitely it's not. Actually, the game by itself is perfectly fine. It has a good story and solid gameplay with stunning graphics and i have no problem with it. The problem comes when you compare it to the original game. As a remake, this game isn't that good. It has missed out a lot of locations and puzzles. There is no clock tower, dead factory, park and cemetery. I don't get why Capcom rushed this one so hard. They really could've made this game a masterpiece... Overall, the game is good and worth a try. I would NOT recommend buying at full price though.

  If it isn't broken. Don't fix it. Cons: The devs were so faithful to the source material for RE 2 Remake. What happened? No clock tower. No park. No graveyard boss fight. No cinematic last minute 'choice system'. The once iconic-looking Nemesis now an eye-sore and looks like a Blue Meanie with lasagna on his face. No more strategic dismemberment (kinda douche-y because now you can't make sure enemies stay dead or crippled) - also, there are corpses lying around that you KNOW are gonna get you later that you can't do anything about. No ink ribbons. No blue herbs. No giant spiders. No more using to the knife to save your *** before getting chomped on. Countering with the knife does literally nothing and the dodge system feels awkward and ill-fitting. Very few puzzles (I think there are like two). The game is very linear and lost the charm and sense of dread of the original. They giveth and then they taketh away. Pros: The graphics are mind-blowing and some of the boss fights are amazing. Overall, this game feels like a tech demo in the form of an extended DLC.

  Not nearly as bad as people claim it to be!! Most people who say this haven't even played the game, and I gotta admit I've been influenced by their comments as well. I was feeling skeptical about this game before buying it but it was on sale and I finally got it and no regrets it was really worth it. Super fun. It was so short though, and the puzzles were much easier than the RE2 Remake but I think it was a good balance nonetheless. Just a little sad that Jill's "you want stars, I'll give you stars" line was in such a bad place.

  Another excellent remake from Capcom! I love their Resident Evil series. It's the gold standard of survival horror. This game might not be "as good" as the RE2 remake but it's pretty damn close. Looks great, plays great, and sounds great. What's not to Love? I wish it had two separate campaigns to master but hey it's still well worth a play through. Unfortunately I was far to young to play the originals back in the day so I'm willing to bet all the naysayers know more about the source material than I do. With that being said this is still a damn solid campaign story with tight game play, decent scares, and worth finishing to the end. Long live Resident Evil! RE2 10/10 RE3 8.3/10

  I don't understand the hate this game got. Is this better than REmake 2? Idk. But this game stands on its own as being premiere horror. Seeing Carlos so much more fleshed out is fantastic. Levels are a perfect mix of combat and creeping horror. I recommend playing on Hardcore if you want a good challenge. It gives you juuuust enough equipment to scrape by; the lack of resources and strength of monsters makes combat legitimately nerve-wracking.

  Classic Resident Evil 3 is my favorite game in the series. That said, I found that the game suffered a heavy backlash from the fans. But I disagree. Despite the various cut parts, it remains a great game. RE engine is great. Nice graphics, fluid and well optimized game. With mods the game becomes even better, and that's because I didn't like so much Jill Valentine's new face. I've done 100% of the game and still want to play more. I recommend the game. it's guaranteed fun for non-hardcore fans, and for new players who don't know Resient Evil.
