  This really doesn't feel any different to Rugby Challenge 3. The gameplay is pretty much copy and pasted. I can see no major changes and no real reason to upgrade to Rugby Challenge 4 except if you want slightly more up-to-date teams. I guess this might be worth getting on a sale in the future. It never seems to go on sale though (neither does Rugby Challenge 3) so you might be waiting a long time! I love rugby and really wanted to enjoy the game. It's just not worth the ridiculous asking price though given the lack of progress and quality here. They are no longer updating the game and it seems that they have largely forgotten that it exists. No news about this game or the future of Rugby Challenge for over a year now.

  The game has potential to be great if they make a few changes here and there. the AI tackling seems like its to hard to beat through the middle, as in you see a gap and go for it but all of a sudden an AI has gravitated to your player and tackles which makes things seem unrealistic. seems like the only way to score tries is by going from side to side. and the passing seems broken, you have a winger wide open but instead it passes to no one. if they even fixed those 2 things this game would be awesome ! still enjoy it anyway

  The biggest problem this game has is it's price, I had some fun and was able to overlook most of the bugs and lack of improvements over previous titles but in no way does it feel like a 2021 sports title. If they dropped the price to $40NZD it'd seem fair. After each match with my friend it took us back to the main menu and we had to invite each other again (and mute each other every time) There's no team rating at the team selection screen No substitutions in online matches? (our players were gassed but we couldn't do anything about it) We mucked around for 2 hours and agreed it barely if at all seems improved from previous titles so we refunded.

  ok, since rugby 08 no decent rugby game has come close, Rugby 20 has so many flaws, rules are wrong, gameplay has many annoyances, Rugby Challenge 4 is definitely the best rugby game around today. Graphics look good in 4k but could be better, gameplay is smooth and rules are interpreted correctly. Wish they could get the proper licenses but the fan hub is a good place to download custom teams.   shocking.... servers arent even up so you cant even play! Had hopes for a decent rugby game.. Let down AGAIN so. The AI is shocking, 15m line from touch they 90% of the time play shortside. BE A PRO - you cannot request or call moves for the team. its very bad.. No animations for the scrum ball being hooked. Speed of kicking animations and set up is actually alright... Do want to say the 7's mode feels good tho... but i Cannot recommend anyone buying this. until they put abit more effort in.. zero patches since release either...

  I do enjoy Rugby Challenge and this is a generally okay game but it is an exact clone of Rugby Challenge 3 and for full price, it's definitely not worth it. The only thing updated seems to be the poorly executed player models and surely they couldn't have spent the whole time from RC3 to RC4 on that? 5 years waited for a worse-off clone? Wasted potential in my opinion. It could have been so much better considering the vast amount of time they had and the game engine change to Unreal, how could you be selling a product like this at full price when you've made, what amounts to, no change at all? You've basically released an updated roster for the same price as an AAA title. Simply just a large improvement in the quantity/quality of tackle and skill-move animations, sound improvements, AI positioning and movement, player models when in-game and those awful face images pre-match and I'm a much happier fan. I'm hoping for an upcoming large update with at least something to show potential. Until then, I don't recommend at all

  I love rugby games but the graphics are awful and didnt live up to the hype and is just a reskin of rc3 really sad about this and I have requested to get it refunded
