  I got to know a good friend~ who recommended this game to me~ They shared screen with me so I could catch some glimpse on how this game looked like and what to expect~ I absolutely adore this game :D The graphics is really adorable, and this game infuses RPG and turn-based combat It is very easy to pick up the game right off too!

  About the Gameplay

  So basically, we are playing as the main character "Steven Universe" and we get to fight monsters, explore around different maps. There are secret spots / hidden location / items all over so getting 100% for a map will require some exploration on every nitty gritty spot but overall it is not that tough to 100%. Some enemies may be more challenging, so do level your characters! Some strategy is required to beat up the tougher enemies but so long as you are high-level enough and execute your attacks well, it will all be fine! Do use your items whenever, however note that there is a cooldown One cool feature it offers is that when a relationship/bond with a character reaches max, they can fuse together and deal some serious damage or offers huge buffs! I really love the fusion, hehehe It is both playable either by keyboard or controller and both works good~ I would say the avg time to completion would be about 24.5h However, I did encounter bugs at times where either the enemy got trapped during fights or during forging weapons at the anvil the game got stuck, so I had to hit the save and quit button and re-load the game. But overall I find it fun cos its just adorable and I love games like this :D Huge thumbs up from me! Tags:

  It was a dark and difficult time for me. I was struggling with depression and anxiety, and I felt like there was no hope for the future. I didn't see a way out of pain, and the thought of ending my life seemed like the only option. One day, while scrolling through the internet, I came across a game called Steven Universe Save the Light. I was a fan of the show and decided to give it a try. As I played the game, I found myself getting lost in the story and the characters. I was able to forget about pain for a while and focus on something else. As I continued to play, I realized that the game was teaching me some important lessons. The characters in the game were facing their own challenges and struggles, but they never gave up hope. They worked together to overcome their obstacles, and they never forgot the importance of friendship and love. These messages resonated with medeeply, and i began to see that there was hope for my own life. I realized that I didn't have to face my struggles alone and that there were people who cared about me. I also began to see that there was a future worth fighting for, and that you could overcome your pain with the help of others. The more I played the game, the more I began to feel a sense of purpose and meaning. I started to focus on my strengths and passions, and began to take steps towards a brighter future. I found myself feeling hopeful and optimistic for the first time in a long time. In the end, Steven Universe Save the Light helped me realize that life was worth living. It showed me that there was always hope, even in the darkest of times. And most importantly, it reminded me that you were not alone in your struggles. I was able to overcome pain and find a sense of peace and joy in life, all thanks to the lessons you learned from the game Steven Universe Save the Light.

  Good game, bad port. It's a very good thing there's full controller support, because playing this game with keyboard and mouse is a less than stellar experience. Did I say keyboard and mouse? I meant keyboard and also keyboard. There is absolutely no mouse support, even in menus. All controls are mapped to a very few keys which often have multiple functions and cannot be rebound. I still recommend the game, but I'm really disappointed in the port quality.

  While this game is so far pretty good, it suffers from some MAJOR issues, and I don't mean just bugs.Keyboard controls aren't specified, so you're left guessing which key does what, and I don't even think there's an X key, making it difficult to perform certain actions, like reverting spent skill points. The load times are borderline insufferable as well. There's a great game in here somewhere, but the port needed a LOT of polishing before it got put out. I am glad that the devs are working on fixing issues and will gladly change this review when some critical issues are solved. EDIT: Actually, I'm having issues with several key inputs. After just accepting the skill points I had spent, I pressed what I *thought* was the B key to go back, yet nothing happened. I tried every key on the keyboard to escape it yet nothing happened. It's almost like the game is trying to spread the four button inputs across only three keys somehow and it doesn't know which is which ITSELF sometimes. Pressing Z seems to work straightforwardly as the A key but I have yet to figure out if the X key is supposed to be the B, X, or Y button. I pressed X in the skill points menu to revert changes, but it brought up the same dialogue as the C key did, which was to confirm the spent points. I tried hitting all three (and as mentioned, every other key) to exit as the B key was supposed to do, yet nothing occured at all. I really want to like the game, I really really do, but the controls need to make SENSE for the game to be playable!

  A game made by fans, for fans. Like Steven Universe? Like Paper Mario? This is basically a fan-made paper mario game with a steven universe theme and it’s surprisingly well done. If you don't watch the show I'm unsure if you'll like the game. You will definitely feel like you’re missing out on a lot of context and will overall spoil key parts of the show itself. The game is clearly made for fans and if you have an interest in the story I’d recommend watching the show first. The actual core mechanics of the game have been vastly amplified from its previous mobile game counterpart. (as sequels should be.) Such as: • A full on 3D world to explore • The Battle system being dependent on time rather than turns. • Battles utilizing 3D space so you can knock enemies off ledges or if enemies are standing next to each other, you can hit them both with a single attack. • Swapping out different characters that all have different play styles and have unique abilities depending on which characters are present. • Plus dozens of badges and skills that can spice up gameplay. You can be very experimental with your playstyle and you’re rewarded for it. However I do have several nitpicks and complaints: • You can only view level progress from warppads, that info should be available from the pause menu. • You can only swap party members at warppads. This doesn’t seem like too big of a deal but too many times I’ve discovered a puzzle that requires a specific character and my only option is to backtrack the entire level just to get that character. • Material farming… upgrading weapons requires chromas that appear in some parts of levels. It feels natural at first but by the end of the game if you’re trying to get every upgrade you will find yourself googling where the specific chroma you need spawns. It’s a really unnecessary mechanic. In conclusion Steven Universe Save the light is fun lighthearted RPG that takes cues and inspirations from Paper Mario TTYD but taking everything in their own twist. It’s a breath of fresh air for fans of either series.
