  I got this on sale 30% off and I think it was a good deal. I'm as much of a horny coomer as the next guy, but there really aren't many lewd games that are actually -games-. Mostly it's some dumb slider puzzle or Bejeweled knockoff where you see a static image if you complete a puzzle or a stage, or a VN that's not really a game so much as a slideshow anime. I feel like Shadow of Yidhra is a step in a more fun and entertaining direction for lewd games on Steam, because there's actually a decent game here and the horny is just a bonus. The English translation is a bit scuffed and awkward, which unfortunately reduces their effectiveness. I wish there was more consistency with the outfit destruction, if it would represent your character's damage in cutscenes/menus as well as on the in-game model. Overall I'm pretty happy with the purchase and I'm interested to see what WhitePeach comes up with in the future. The glut of lewd games on Steam are mostly boring carbon-copies with meh content, and I feel this stands out as being a bit more interesting.

  Yes, but with some caveats. A game at this price point (even an Indie game) is expected to have some polish to it. The Shadow of Yidhra is definitely lacking that polish, most notably in audio (voice cuts out quite a bit in scenes), translation (it's very poor, I expect very few players will bother to figure out what's going on) and ui/qol features (there is a gallery but no replaying scenes, unlocking specific scenes and animations is a pain, only three save slots making going back to unlock missed animations very annoying, and you can't hide the textbox during scenes). Also you can in fact restore all content (ie uncensored ero scenes) on steam they just were a bit roundabout with it. In spite of those issues I can still easily recommend this game. The game play is reasonably good indie sidescroller with fantastic character models, animations, cgs and voice acting (when it doesn't cut out). While the plot isn't anything special you can actually tell the writing in the ero scenes was pretty good even through the horrific translation. Those scenes were insanely hot in artwork, animation, voice acting, and writing. They actually made me like some kinks I've never enjoyed prior to this game, and that again is in spite of the translation. VA and writing just did that good of a job. It is all non-con content though so be warned, but there are no violent endings to them. Main girl is just banged senseless until she enjoys it (obviously wont be everyone's cup of tea but eh, better than violence). I hope this team produces more games in the future but that they're a bit more complete and polished.

  spoilers: but not really since game is so short, alright so, I've played it for like an hr, trying to understand the broken english story. But I couldn't finish since I ran into the bug that progresses you into the DarkKnight or something like that mission/area. I reloaded my last save file, beat samurai chick again, game broke, decided to start from beginning, got to the same point in like 20 or so mins, game still just broken. It's just annoying me that I can't finish this "story" & make me want to go back and see the losing scenes b/c the gallery will never be complete since I am & will be missing the last boss or whatever is at the end. EDIT : If you get to this point, apparently before u fight the samurai girl, swap the game to japanese, then it will somehow fix itself... that's a dumb bug no joke..

  It's a very good 2D action game but it's very short. I finished the game with 8.5 hours without rushing. After finish, I don't feel like going back to it. I do recommend on Sale, but I don’t believe it’s worth full price. PROS: • Diversity of Weapons • Upgrades to improve your skills. • Ero 2D animations are great! • Gameplay is very good, even though a few bugs when jumping can happen. CONS: • There is a bug in which if you are using English, you will get your progress stuck. (Can be workaround by changing language to Japanese) • There is no difficult change. • Too short. • You can’t remap the buttons. • Translation to English is the worst I ever seen

  There are currently game breaking bugs when playing with english subtitles that stops you from progressing. You can get around this by changing to chinese whenever you encounter it, and reload a recent save file. You shouldn't have to do this though, and this issue has not been fixed for several months now.

  Pretty good metroidvania with a lot of really nice H-scenes. Pros: - Nice H-scenes - a way to view all the scenes in one place. - good gameplay - replayability - good overall game design - dlc that uncensors the game - good price cons: - glitch in the game where you have to restart the game and switch to japanese to be able to continue - no achievements Suggestions: I'd love to see some achievements for the game as I think this game could benefit from it. It would be nice for there to be an English dub for this game but I understand that can be an additional cost. bug fixing the game would be great as I feel there are still some bugs left in the game that could easily be fixed. I recommend this game to anyone who is interesting in getting it. I think it is a well designed game and overall has some great things you don't see other places.

  God damn it, I REALLY want a neutral review for this kind of game… so I guess I'll go with a negative one since the review until now are very positive. Long story short, I enjoyed the game with it's 4~6h, but I have the impression that the game is not finished (almost finished, but not finished). . The good: → the graphism is good, with the exception of jump animation and the animation of a certain ranged enemy in close combat → the gameplay is fun. → lot of voiced lines → there is a gallery for both defeat scene and in-game H animation, whose content is fully unlocked when you finish the game so no need to go defeat scene hunting . Now, the problems: → a bug in the English translation in the middle of the game make you unable to advance! You have to change the language, then return to English after that part of the game, which force you either to redo a (easy but still) boss to be able to read the story or to miss a part of the story → speaking of story, there are a couple of incoherences and, most importantly, there are questions that aren’t answered at the end of the game (there is not even a generic, a “Thank you for playing” or anything, after a short dialogue you’re just sent back to the menu… and I seriously though my game bugged until I saw the fully unlocked gallery) → a lot of problem with collision: some enemies (first boss & dogs) will go through walls and get stuck inside it, enemies jump is buggy, and sometime when you jump from a stair or the border of a platform your character animation is in diagonal, or even horizontal, instead of the normally vertical animation → I’m not sure if it’s just a translation problem or what, but some accessories effect are not clear, at least not in English (what the difference between “Attack add X damage” and “Attack Power increases X”?) or aren’t completely given (“[…], But Damage is Reduced”, how much so?), thus you are forced to do test to have a proper answer → some accessories are anecdotal at best (since you move fast enough, the “Moving Speed Increase” accessories only purpose is exploration), same thing with grenades → some weapons are already obsolete when you find them (the LongBow sniper is worse in everything than the DSA-1 sniper, with 2 less ammo per magazine and 60 less minimal damage for only 10 more max damage… and you can buy the DSA-1 just a little bit before you find the LongBow) while other make all of the other weapons of their category completely obsolete (Buffalo for SMG, Hammer for shotguns…) → speaking of which, there is no incentive to use every category of weapons, so generally you end up using the shotgun and melee weapon for exploration, and a riffle for boss combat. A simple fix to that would have been to set up a maximum for each weapon category ammunition, but I got over 2000 ammo for the riffle without problem, so I guess there is none, and if there is, it is too high.

  It is a bit much for 10 or 11 bucks but if you can get it for the 5 to 6 dollar range its worth it. the animations are nice, the gameplay is surprisingly fun for an H game and its pretty straight forward. it has its flaws however, its english translation is horrendous, I think the creator just threw the script through google translate and called it a day. Also save points are a bit sparse so if you want to go for the game over screens it can make things rough.
