Auto Scroll Reels Introduction

Who hasn't wished that the Instagram app had an option to automatically switch to the next reel once a reel has finished playing - so you don't have to swipe yourself?

Auto Scroll Reels will detect when a reel ends and automatically scroll to the next one. (For sponsored reels, you can select a timeout, or to have them skipped at once.)

Note: With some reels, the end marker may occur too early. To prevent them from being cut off, a default timeout is applied all reels that are shorter than 7 seconds, they will run 15 seconds. (These values can be adjusted in the settings.)

How to use:

1) Tap 'Start app'. This will add a persistent notification in the status bar.

2) Open the Reels feed in the Instagram app.

3) Pull down the notifications, and tap the Auto Scroll Reels notification. This will start the automatic scrolling.

4) To stop the automatic scrolling, pull down the notifications, and tap the Auto Scroll Reels notification again.

Note: The end of a reel will only be detected if the reel is viewed for the first time, not if you scroll back to it.

Auto Scroll Reels uses Accessibility services.

The app requires the accessibility service permission in order to be able to scroll the screen.

No data is collected via the accessibility service.

Auto Scroll Reels uses a persistent notification as an easily accessible on/off switch. On Android 13, this requires the notification permission.
