The Bible (from Koine Greek: βιβλια – books) is a canonical collection of texts considered sacred by Judaism and Christianity. Different religious groups include different books in their canons, in different orders; and sometimes they split or join books, or include additional material in the canonical books. It is the second part of the Bible (after the Old Testament) and contains 27 books, including the Gospels, history and activity of the first Christians, letters (epistles) and the book of Revelation.
