Cooking Companions: Appetizer Edition is a visual novel cooking horror game where a chef tries to find the ghosts of five vegetables that are hiding in a mysterious house.

A demo for the upcoming full game which will be releasing next year, Cooking Companions: Appetizer Edition is a very strange visual novel horror game that draws on Earern European folklore as you search a house for ghost vegetables. The ghost vegetables themselves are pretty friendly (aside from the potato) and the game has a cheerful facade, but scratch a little deeper and you’ll find some very weird stuff going on in the house.
