Cicih Cangkurileung is a stage name for a singer who is known as a singer of jaipongan, kliningan, and kecamatan. His real name is Cicih Rukesih. Cicih has released more than 100 cassette albums. Cicih Cangkurileung has had a career in the Sundanese art world for more than 45 years, and is known as a singer who has a strong voice, improvisation in senggol (song ornaments), especially the kejawen senggol, pedotan (entry technique, on each song line). The stage name Cangkurileung (kutilang) began to be used when participating in a sinden contest which required participants to use the bird's name behind the original.

Jaipongang or Jaipong is one of the Sundanese arts. Born in Karawang and then quickly spread throughout the Sundanese of West Java. Now, it is very popular among all Sundanese people. Jaipongan is a mandatory menu item in all activities in West Java - from weddings to official government events.
