For a problem with notification libraries managed by Google, automatic updating is temporarily disabled.

Monitoring of Italian seismic events reported by the site of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology.

The seismic hazard data are provided by the INGV:

MPS Working Group (2004). Drafting of the seismic hazard map provided by the PCM Ordinance 3274 of March 20, 2003. Final Report for the Department of Civil Protection, INGV, Milan-Rome, April 2004, 65 pp. + 5 appendices.

Remember that the INGV publishes the new seismic events with an average delay of 20/30 minutes, so it means that when an earthquake occurs on the site of the INGV this will be inserted ONLY after being checked by seismologists and then only after the publication will be notified to your devices!

ATTENTION: it is advisable to activate PUSH notifications in the "Update events" section!

Earthquakes will be listed as a list and can be displayed on the map to highlight the exact location of the event.

The application was developed independently by the author, without any relation to the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology.

In case of problems, report the problem directly to the author with the appropriate function of the application.

The events are not always published on the INGV website with the same temporal order in which they occur.

Furthermore I remind you that if you have installed the application on the SD card the widget will not be available and the update service may NOT start until you open the application!

The application was developed independently by the author without any commission or link with INGV.

The application shall ONLY show the list of Italian seismic events, no guarantee on the truthfulness and accuracy of the data is guaranteed by the author of the application.

Now you can choose whether to use smaller pins on the map, to make the display cleaner.

If you decide to display ALL the events (both on the list and on the map) remember that the application could be slowed down because the number of seismic events is still HIGH.

When a search is performed, by typing two characters the program will search for all the seismic events occurred in the corresponding province, while for any other text a FREE search will be performed on the name of the municipality or on the name of the seismic survey zone. In case of search, the filters will be deactivated based on the distance and / or magnitude of the event.
