This app contains players from Manchester City Football Club. This team is an English football club based in Manchester and founded in 1880. In 1894 the club nicknamed City, The Citizens, or The Sky Blues, the professional team evolves since 2003 at Etihad Stadium.

The club enjoyed its most prosperous period from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. City then won the English Premier League, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Cup of Cups.

The decline of the club led to two relegations in three years in the 1990s, seeing City pass the 1998-1999 season to the third tier of English football for the only time in its history. The club has since regained its place in the elite, a division that has been theirs for most of its history. Since 2008, the club has considerable financial resources allowing it an ambitious recruitment.

After 35 years without a trophy, Manchester City won the FA Cup in 2011. The following season, the club won the Premier League, the first league title in 44 years. In 2014, Manchester City wins the League Cup and a championship of England. In 2018, the club won its fifth league title and beat several records, including more points on a Premier League season (100) and the highest number of wins (32). In 2019, the club achieved a historic four-fold (Championship, FA Cup, League Cup and Community Shield).
