  Really like the crazy rotation and dash mechanics. Would recommend for anyone looking for a fresh arcade shooter/bullet hell game. Definitely a good different experience

  I see you putting the twist on the bullet-hell genre, and hey you finally made it XD (I know the dev from Discord, we played the same game a long time ago) Very straightforward game, don't get hit, shoot the enemies, and select the stages MegaMan style, except not all of them are unlocked right away, I kinda wish they were though. It's not a very complex game, mostly in line with the Arcade formula, the only variety comes from the new guns and the actual levels. There are some small additional features, you can unlock various mutators such as reloading. I had some occasional problems with the visual clutter, but otherwise, the game played relatively well. I would say the highlight was the stage variety, I like how each world has some unique features, as well as nicely stage-themed boss fights, not to mention a nice aesthetic experience. It was kinda cool how sometimes you would do interactive cutscenes such as the elevator, I kinda wish you did more of that, but still, it just feels like you didn't take it too seriously, the game has a nice chill vibe to it. Personally, I didn't find the mechanics too difficult, or the rotation for that matter, granted there were a few things I would have changed. I assume you limited the weapon rotation so you actually have to angle at the enemies, but honestly, I felt like I was fighting the game because of it. I think I gave you this feedback in the demo, I don't like that you only have a choice between changing guns, but never improving your fire mode in any capacity. For example, early in the game, you have a choice of homing missiles, shotgun, and the rapid fire, but only rapid fire has reliable DPS vs bosses, unlil you get like that alien weapon or the energy gun. I kinda wish there was some type of basic upgrade system, maybe if you picked up the same gun twice without dying it would get a modifier, the game does not have to be complicated but I still like to see some progression for the weapon mods.

  Pros:

  (+) I like the personality in most of the stages, I didn't know if you could manage to put creativity into a rotating level design, but between different cutscenes and unique challenges, I would say it was the best part of the game, just the way you would create different bosses and stage mechanics. (+) Aside from a few visual problems, I thought the game was kind of a neat aesthetic experience, even the soundtrack was pretty unique. The stage select was a nice touch, MegaMan inspiration I assume. (+) I thought the game played decently, on a personal level I would have preferred a little more depth with weapons, maybe some basic upgrade system.

  Feedback:

  Visual issues - in some areas of the game there are noticeable visual and telegraphing issues. For example, the spikes during the shark miniboss, the walls are 2 colors, and the spikes are 2 colors, you know why not have spikes have 1 color so you can see them. Sometimes it's not very clear what you dodging, there are definitely some levels where I just dodge and hope nothing in the way because there is just too much going on. Some Gun Nitpicks - overall I felt like the guns with the short range were awkward to use. The grenade gun is the worst one I think, like the range is bad, the charge attack is awkward, the DPS does not even feel high, and the AOE often misses. Funny thing is when you want to change to something else, it's actually hard to hit the checkpoint with it multiple times, so you get stuck using it. Some subjective thoughts - I think what you should have done is give each gun an upgrade if you pick the same gun twice without dying, for example, add an extra projectile or faster attack rate, only if you didn't die for both pickups. Again, nothing against simple games, I just felt like you kept giving me "gun choices", but I just pick the one that has more range, no incentive to experiment really when some of them are just doing less. So I think that is one area where you could have done a little more to encourage me to experiment and try different builds. I get it's not a rogue-lite, I still wanted maybe some upgrade choices though, maybe I am just spoiled, but using the same guns felt a bit boring for me. Overall Thoughts: 7/10 On a personal level, I would have preferred if the game had some basic mutator system, I wish the guns had some ways to upgrade them or add something to the fire rate. But it's fine, not every game needs rogue-lite mechanics, if nothing else I respect you for sticking to your idea. I thought you could have done more with it, but for a simple game, I liked it enough, especially more as a visual experience, love that little train in the last level.   This is really fast-paced and fun to play. With the rotating world, it adds very distinctive flavor or let's say.. interesting twist to this genre. The soundtrack and art style are really special and stand out. The fights are certainly a challenge. With completing stages, you unlock new weapons and can try to break your previous records. I really enjoyed playing this game and would summarize that it really adds interesting twists to arcade/twin-stick shooters.

  Fast-paced, fun and straight to the core gameplay with a slight addiction factor. While I felt it's pretty hard in the beginning I quickly caught myself easily playing through parts I had trouble with only one or two trys prior, seems like there's definitely a player skill improvement happening and you get used to the playstyle rather fast. I could watch the devs working on this pretty much from the early beginnings to now, and they not only pushed it to the point where I was thinking to myself "this is a nice and pretty game now" but continued making it even better in all areas. The outcome is a real great game and I can only fully recommend it to everybody!

  Roto Force's well-rounded gameplay loop has me SPINNING. Solid difficulty curve, too. The tunes will soon be in heavy rotation. Revolutionary stuff. A reel fun time. Wheely good. I'll stop now.
