Meri Gram Panchayat (MyGP) 簡介

Meri Gram Panchayat (MyGP) mobile application for State Election Commission to facilitates in forming the Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRI)/ Gram Panchayats at District level - Complete Electoral Process to form Gram Panchayats by way of election, henceforth empowering the Panchayati Raj Institutions PRI by inclusion of the ICT enabled process for enabling transparency in the whole of the electoral process & also strengthen the State Election Commission in the respective states.

Main features/components of this application are:

(1) Know Your Candidate (KYC) – The citizen has the right to know the details about the candidates who has filed nomination for contesting the election. This includes his educational qualification, past records including criminal record if any, property assets, financial conditions etc by virtue of filing the affidavit.

(2) Vote to search – This module shall help the voters in searching the booth where they have to caste the vote. Also the route from the current location to booth is shown in this mobile using Google navigator.

(3) Poll Conduction (Dashboard) – This module is useful for the intensive monitoring by the election conduction functionaries on various parameters as hereunder

One day prior the poll day

• Polling party left for polling stations /Booths

• Booth Established (readiness)

During the Poll Day

• Mock Poll Done

• Poll Started

• Voters Turn out Figure (Latest figures from each booth/hour)

• Number of Voters in queue at the time of end of polling hours.

• Poll Ended

• EVM deposited at strong Room

The Data on the dashboard shall be populated directly in the application only by the respective Presiding officer or Alternate Presiding officers deployed on booths. No one other than authorised person can populate the data.

(4) Communication Plan (Intra communication between election functionaries): To conduct the election smoothly top authorities can communicate with officials deployed on election duty on the booth directly through this application i.e. they can communicate with Presiding Officer, Alternate Presiding Officer, Duty Magistrate, Zonal Magistrate etc.

(5) My GP (Result) – All elected members will be displayed under this tab. Dashboard which further allow to public to be in touch with their representatives of PRI members (Chairman Zila Parishad, Block Samities, Sarpanch, Panches (ward members)
