  The good: + Gameplay and new movesets for many characters feel more fluent and devastating than PW3. + New giant type enemies are fun to fight. + The biggest roster of playable characters with 43 in the base game and 9 DLC. + New, bigger maps with the new building-destruction mechanic really help sell the power fantasy. + Better visual and effect when compared to PW3. + Great music. The bad: - Lock-on camera is god awful at times - Many playable story arcs like Arlong, Thriller park, Fishman island in PW3, are either removed or reduced into recap cutscenes in PW4. - With the revamped gameplay, the kizuna rush mechanic is gone, I can't say if this is for the better or worse in term of gameplay but without it, a somewhat unique aspect of characters' interactions is gone. - Less alternate outfits for many characters. - Dream logs' interface is severely downgraded from an interactive map to a simple selection menu. - No more treasure events, legend diary or anything that would encourage you to replay story missions except for getting S grade. - Some maps can be quite annoying to navigate. - The new buildings-destruction system feel somewhat underused, like i was hoping to be able to create new routes on some maps and not just dealing extra damage to enemies. Overall: - Is this a good musou game? Yes. - Is this game a good sequel to PW3? Absolutely not, if anything this is more PW3.5 than a full sequel. - Should you try this out knowing nothing about One piece? Maybe not, many of the main story arcs are greatly abridged or glossed over. - Should you try this out as a One Piece fan? Yes, but i highly recommend getting this on sale.
