International interactive entertainment provider HoYoverse has revealed the release date of Genshin Impact Version 3.2 "Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises" as November 2, 2022. More neighborhood pals, such as Nahida and Layla, will be ready to join as playable characters with the most recent update, and Sumeru's main plot will reach a climax before coming to a spectacular conclusion. The players' adventures in Teyvat's magical realm will be further improved during this time by more challenging adversaries and enjoyable scenarios, such as one where they can collect and train fungi.

Nahida will join the cast as a five-star Dendro catalyst, and by holding her elemental talent, she has the power to mark, link, and deal greater Dendro damage to enemies. She can have even more strength if she works with characters who are Pyro, Electro, or Hydro.

Layla is an astrological student at the Akademiya who can sleepwalk to show off her true power. She can battle with a sword and the force of Cryo, giving the team both protection and Cryo damage. The repetition of Nahida and Yoimiya will be in the first half of Version 3.2's Event Wishes, and Layla's debut will be in the second half of the repeats of Yae Miko and Tartaglia.
