  EDIT: Developer jumped on all of the bugs I mentioned within 5 hours and pushed fixes for them, and asked for more. Original review still listed for completeness sake, but this is definitely a developer worth supporting. Major usability bugs are gone. ---------- This needs to be listed as Early Access. Unless there's a bug on the review page, it is not. Even at full price, I can't see this game going for a fair price of $7.99. Right now the game has several experience-destroying bugs, and even when it's working the content is pretty bland. It's clear the developer is putting in hard work, but comparing this game to early RotMG is a joke. There is no player-player interaction(arguably the crux of rotmg) Pros: - Sounds are good - Weapons all feel different and have a different use - Feels satisfying to hit things - Controls are tight enough Cons: - EDIT: FIXED - If at any point you click off the screen, you're done. Your character will keep moving and your key will get locked. This is compounded by a hard to see cursor. - Enemies all feel similar. They either rush you down or spam you with projectiles. - Dungeons take forever and all feel the same. - Entire game hinges on which bosses you roll. Some of them take forever and keep you at bay, while others just stand still and die for you. You definitely want the latter of the two. - Chests never feel useful. It's much more effective to just get the shark cannon and go win. - Every playthrough feels the same. I beat the first campaign so I could say I gave it a fair shot, in four tries. The second campaign is the exact same thing except bosses/elites spawn everywhere, instead of just at boss spots or elite spots. The bosses don't feel like they were designed to have synergy. I want to like this game, as Realm holds a place in my heart, but it just feels like a paid version of a free game that does everything better. It would be worth in its current state IF: - It was at the $2.50 level. There are just so many other things out there for $8 or even $5 that are *better*. - It was marked Early Access. This does not feel like a finished product. - It did something new. Adding a timer to the game lies directly at odds with any strategy besides 'rush', and rushing doesn't feel fun in this game. - It had online multiplayer. Playing by myself is boring, but I could see this being okay with a friend.

  Earth Overclocked is an adventure / bullet hell similar to games like Hero Siege, Realm of the mad God, or Nuclear Throne. While the game does feel like an alpha to me, there is already a lot of polish. I look forward to watching this game develop.

  This game is really well made for both a couch party and solo play. Maybe it's just me but this game is very well done for a 5 euro game. Anyway, you shouldn't stop patching. This game deserves attention. It's good.

  A pretty decent game. I picked it up for a dollar a few sales back and it's done pretty well. It's not a game you sit down and play all day and night, but it is a pretty good timewaster every now and again. I would highly recommend waiting for a sale in order to buy this game, though, as it would make it much more worth-while.

  it is a great and fun game i would recommend it if you are bored and need to waste time. the only problem is that there is no cloud for some things. like i had a really good weapon in storage for next round and i go to play the game on another computer and the item isnt there for next round

  never like indie. But played this game with pleasure. Nice way to spend 1-2 hours with friends. Solo mode seems like to hardcore for me ;D

  Realm Of The Mad God before it was pay to win, with it's own twist. Pros: Great Soundtrack Insane Replayability Durability of Weapons done right Awesome enemy design Class Variety Tons of different modes that suit your playstyle Unlockables without steam achievements, actual content, not a stupid picture. Great Randomization Mixed: The only problem I have with this game, is that there's a timer to everything you do, so you gotta run through the game fast, you got 20 minutes to [spoiler]get all 4 time machine pieces]/spoiler. however, this is the only RPG game that got a timer right, it all depends on your skill! Cons: I have none! Enjoy the game! :D

  the game is ok but there's a timer that you can't turn off, that shit pisses me off. I play games to relax, not to have a fucking deadline on when a level needs to be done. if there was an option to turn off the timer I would change my mind on the game.

  My summary in 4 sentences: The idea of the game is stupid to me.Timed dungeon game with exploring?I'm sorry,but I made like 10 legit attempts,all ending because the time ran out.The pixel graphics dont look good,the game lagged ocasionally.
