Okay, so I've gotten past the first boss and the first "Scene" in the game. So take my review with a grain of salt as things may change the farther I get into the game. Overall, TLDR, it's a game you get on sale unless you're invested in the premise imo. Which I was, so I went ahead and grabbed it. If you want more details you can keep going. But I'd consider that a reasonable verdict. As a sidenote, if you want to unlock the spicier scenes, you have to go to the developers website and download the official patch from there. You can then run the installer inside the steam folder where this game is located to be able to get the spicy scenes. So let's start with the negatives and work our way towards the positives. The translation is rough. Not so rough that you can't understand what is going on, but rough enough that you will have to pause and re-read some of the chats because of spelling and grammar mistakes, as well as just nonsensical phrases. It's not terrible to the point of complete unusability, but this is about the level of quality I've seen in some AI-translated games. Not terrible. Not great. The gameplay at the beginning is bland. There's hints of a greater system at play, but running through the forest and one-shotting everything isn't that exciting. But the game throws these at you to let you look at the combat and gain some levels before you enter the first proper dungeon. That being said, it's probably for the best. The mobs are clearly meant to be grinded and not having to put your mind to work for every mob is definitely the way to go. Let's talk about the combat system. It has to be said that the combat system does not really teach you what it needs to teach you. For example, one of the first characters you get has a counter for "Bullets" that doesn't seem to really mean a whole lot until you start getting into their skills and how they're used. If you're not using these skills on that character than they do subpar damage at best and are outright useless at worst. A pop-up tutorial explaining the basics of a character would have really alleviated some of the minor confusion I had. Okay. Now let's move on to the good stuff. The characters. Usually when I sign up for one of these games I'm expecting some stock tropes to be thrown at me in an attempt to engender some goodwill through familiarity. The characters you start out with are unique enough that I enjoyed reading the conversations. There's a dedicated talk button you can use to chat with your party and they'll tell you what to do if you're lost. On top of that, there are "Skits" throughout the world that you can read where the party talks to each other and it's generally pretty amusing. Not top tier writing because of the translation issues, but passable. I really like the idea of the Trust system. The more you find skits and complete quests with your party, the more scenes and skills you unlock. The UI design is pretty good in my opinion. Most RPG Maker games settle for the stock UI, but the developer went through the trouble of designing their own UI to use for the game and it really helps it stand out. The Combat really started to pick up at the first boss, where I felt I needed to engage with the mechanics of the game to win. Rather than mindlessly spamming attack, I focused on what each character did well and used that to ensure I didn't get blasted to the game over screen. Buffs felt useful, even a bit necessary. The skill system is set to automatic progression by default, so you don't have to engage with the skill board. If you're a seasoned vet looking to get the most out of the game, just turn it off. If not and you just want to turn your brain off, you can keep it on and let the game decide for you. It's a neat little thing for those of us not wanting to invest heavily into too much thinking during routine gameplay. There's a variety of subsystems. From cooking to gathering to weapon farming and enhancement. Really gives off that "isekai" feel. Finally, the meh. I get the feeling the story is going to be generic. There's a demon lord for starters, and two of our party members have amnesia. I wonder if they'll be tied in to the demon lord? Maybe be the heroes destined to save the world? Yeah it's meh so far. It may pick up later, but I'm not expecting a Pronant Symphony level of storytelling here. This is only meh because the characters are carrying the story so far. I've only unlocked one "spicy" scene so far and it was pretty routine as far as things go. Not animated, but had a few expressions. The art itself is nice and fun to look at. But overall not much more impressive than scenes in other RPG Maker games you've seen. So you probably already know if you like that kind of thing. It seems like there's a decent amount of scenes in this as well. Overall, pick it up if this is your kind of jam. If it's not, I'd only pick it up on sale.

The adult patch is needed (uncensored, no mosaic). The current version 1.01 has an iffy translation, likely due to machine or similar automated translation. I would suggest waiting for a newer patch that may address the translation issues (Though nothing is confirming that this will happen). The story is casual, the main attraction being the Etrian Odyssey like system regarding character build and enemies (more about later). And, due to the machine translation, it might not be enjoyable at times. Press Q or W (keyboard) to read the backlog, as sometimes it doesn't make sense. Romance is harem, meaning: One male protagonist and multiple female characters who are attracted to him for no other reason than Harem. He doesn't have an avatar or spoken lines. And because he doesn't contribute to the battles or similar, most of the time you will even forget he exists. Essentially, he only exists for the H scenes as every last one involves him. Tip: for some optional h events, regularly go back home, talk with all girls (even if no heart icon), check bath, rest and sleep (yes, both options) via bed Side note: I got stuck at one point while I was actually in control of him during a town event. If this happens to you, to progress the story, you need to go all the way to the top right of the town, behind the armour shop, to trigger an event with two girls that will advance the story.. Battle system: Losing against any boss = Nothing (no game over, it's as if you never started the battle) I'm unaware of the difficulty affecting anything so play whichever you prefer If you only want to progress the story and collect the H scenes: Start the easiest setting, apparently you get an "instant win" skill. Also, during any puzzle, you have the option to hear the answer. 2nd option is in between 3rd option, the most challenging one, includes a level cap until you defeat the next boss. All bosses have a large amount of HP, and they possess various buffs and skills that can result in 1 Hit KO, sometimes affecting multiple party members. Status aliment, debuff and more to make it worse. You will need to continuously heal while attempting to reduce the bosses' HP. To overcome this, you need to build your party specifically for the said boss. The game has a skill tree that you can reset, and even save and load to avoid wasting time. Each character has a different skill tree, which means each girl has different skills. So you sometimes need to intentionally fight a boss, to see how to prepare and do a rematch. Random enemies drop "Monster Cores" and "weapons". You can combine same-rank "monster cores" or "weapons" to make them stronger, but this costs money and requires grinding to obtain additional copies. Therefore, it can be a time-consuming process. If you played Etrian Odyssey, you are aware that random enemies might destroy your party if you don't pay attention. Bosses will destroy your party if you are not very well prepared and play sometimes even turns ahead -> and the fun and joy comes from mastering the game elements and being able to "control" the battle and win against enemies that, without strategies and correct combinations, it's not possible to win Does Postgame & NG+ exist? Answer: Post-game exist however, there is NOTHING new. I'm not aware of NG+ existing

I've made it pretty far I would imagine but the translation seems to just get worse and worse. It really needs to be improved. Hold off on this one until (hopefully) we get a newer English patch.
