  Finally a sim that replicate the tricky flight differences between whoops and 5" quad copter sims correctly. You feel that battery sag and throttle control quirks that is so different when you switch from flying 5" to whoops and visa versa. I foresee many hours in both Liftoff: Micro Drones and Liftoff.

  The game is amazing, the only thing that's missing is support for custom Workshop maps, along with the ability to easily create our own maps and races. I would love to make a model of my own house so I could train some stunts.

  The micro drones are too drifty. They never stop drifting even in angle mode. Way harder than my real Moblite 7 and tinyhawk 3 tinywhoops

  Great Game. Very realistic and fun to play with very creative and high detail maps that are amazingly fun to fly, race or even freestyle.

  To the devs, fantastic job. Absolutely outstanding. I'm going into real estate FPV, and this is such good practice! Physics are great, just like the OG version. Would love to see more maps, specifically more residential locations? Great sim, can't give it enough praise.

  Where do i start? This is a love/hate game. Lets just get the physics out of the way. I don't mind them. I find every RC SIM different. I started on Realflight Sim and have picked up most drone sims since. The one thing I hate in a Quad sim is the "floating" feeling. This games gives you more of a "ROCK" feel to the models. You need more than 50% to hover on some rigs here....BUT I don't mind. I can do what I want without ever feeling like I'm drifting too much. What i like.....one drone/one map. I cant even remember the quad I like as its really unremarkable. The map would be the warehouse. The other two are way to small and cluttered. I loved the music. So here is my issues The dev pointed out in a discussion how "Bigger doesn't make a map more interesting". It was also implied that the house would be the common size area. The other two maps (gym/warehouse) are bigger and not micro sized. That they might consider bigger maps in the future. I wasn't aware I bought :LIFTOFF MICRO AREA At that...not even another micro area since launch. 3 months now and little done. Yes the first control tweaks helped. The fact that its still the major gripe should tell you your still far off (to those people). I only hope they don't get completely Nerfed. A reply to another user from the dev stated that "its not supposed to be easy,Its a simulator." I feel ya and also think you sound kinda like well....your answers are more like excuses as to why the user is wrong. Even though you want feedback. I'm not here to compare notes with the devs. I'm here so that they start taking some real ones. Your welcome for the honest feedback DEVS. For this reason alone I made this review. Would i buy it?... No WAY.... a map every 5-6 months and no planned outdoor maps = NO WAY No bigger isn't better. But I only cared for the one "BIG"map. The fact that they "might"add more in the future,but its not their atypical map pretty much seals the deal. How many house size places can a person fly? Please deliver me from WHOOP Hell. lol So at this rate we are looking at maybe....just maybe a map evey 5-6 monthe as stated by some dev....or a model every 3 months! Or is the excuse that its physics first? Then we are gonna really be in for a wait! I don't care what Liftoff OG had add its launch as you pointed out in another post. I bought your game. The more I hear its in early access,we need time. The more I think you should have waited on the money grab so you don't have to defend your early launch. Not my issue. You getting paid right? My money right? So suck it up and work on it. Post info,not your opinion on ours. Make a road map to get back some momentum. If people knew what to expect then we could maybe see a future to look forward too. like no currently planned outdoor maps. All I see are small maps and slow updates in my (and EVERYONES) future. CHANGE MY MIND. I have posted on some of this stuff but the devs go for the one line approaches....while avoiding me. If I wanted you to fail ,Id say nothing. (See I love you so much! I say whole bunch!) But the wind of change is seen in your reviews. I feel that this game has potential like most reviewers. A lot of which have spent less that 3hrs in game! Hmmm....Another sign. If the same quality was maintained through bigger levels. Add more models. ALL while updating physics. At least monthly....then you will make it. But if you took the money on a early access while all the time expecting us to wait a couple years for a finished product?....oh lets hope not! How could one possibly avoid people speculating as to what is the future of the game? ROAD MAP! Did i say that? This is in fact one of my favorite sims period believe it or not. I've lost the love though with only a good map an a quad after 17 hours. Physics updates wont help me out at all. Neither will small maps (MICRO). So now if I had a choice it would be wait. Now that I know its gonna be months at a time to get any real updates. Even then the maps will be micro. Maybe a bigger one here and there, if at all. Nope. TBH If i had were able to read the future replies by LUGAS(I wishlisted and bought about launch), I wouldn't have bought it. Respecting your community is important as a DEV. I didn't get that vibe from them at all. Can you believe I can put that all behind me? We cant fix what we don't know is broke. Call this tough love. Id rather not post this either... I care enough and believe enough to post this. I hope this honest review helps the buyer first. Then the Developer...which in turn will help the buyer again. Good luck. I WILL UPDATE WITH FUTURE THOUGHTS ON DEVELOPMENTS ABOUT THIS GAME AS I WOULD LOVE GIVE A THUMBS UP SOME DAY. UPDATE 5-4-22 We have a new map now! Its even more MICRO. Love the idea. Hate the micro sized environment. I wanted so much for this to not be a small area. I wanted to be wrong about this becoming a micro flight area simulator. Less than 5 minutes in and I'm done. So pretty, scenic.....and empty. Also there's a pic of an up coming map. Generic and boring doesn't even touch on it. When a bigger environment looks even more boring then your smallest one.....just let us build our own please.Let the community save this game from abandonment. Or at least boredom. IMHO...never should have released the warehouse level. It reminds people of what the levels could have been. RIP

  Great micro drone simulator. For $16 its a deal, I'd pay at least $20 for the early access version. Getting back into FPV and this is a great way to fly around without messing around with charging lipos and soldering connections. I hope they add in a backyard map to fly around in. Runs smoothly at max graphics with an RTX 3080, Ryzen 5900X, and 32 GB RAM.

  Super fun game! Great job team. I've been having a wonderful time playing the early release version of the game. I'd love to see the Tinyhawk and Nanohawk get added. If I may, I'd like to add a bit of constructive criticism: The tiny whoop is really fun to fly in the game but it's just too good. I've burned through 5 or 6 whoops in my time and although they are fun, they do not have enough power to counteract the turbulence they can create with stock motors. This is particularly noticeable when flying inverted for any amount of time (rolling/flipping) or descending rapidly. Typically you end up in a situation where the motors struggle to hold position and the pid loop enters a bit of an oscillation. Now in the past I've upgraded my whoop motors and been able to do some more acrobatic stuff but in that scenario. Unfortunately though, to get a whoop to behave similar to the flight model in the game you're probably looking at decreasing your battery life to something around 30 seconds. It will be the most fun 30 seconds of your life (a time frame I'm all too familiar with) but it's only enough time to get a few flips in before you've blown your whole battery load. There's one other thing I've always wished liftoff had and that is an option to make the video signal even worse. When flying a real whoop around a house (or even my 250 in some cases) the video looks like absolute garbage; cutting in and out and sometime flying through periods of blizzard or black conditions for a second or two. So in summary, for the purpose of training for real world applications, it would be wonderful if I could make everything worse >P

  Whoop focused version of Liftoff with enhanced graphics. The quads feel about right, I'd probably rate the physics slightly above Velocidrone. The spaces are suitably confined with enough room for a beginner to get started in. Really need a proper radio transmitter to play, would recommend Oscar Liang breakdown as a starting point for anyone fresh to the hobby (google Oscar Liang Radio Transmitter).
