PSHT Guide - Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate (widely known as PSHT or SH Terate) is a sports organization that was initiated by Ki Hadjar Hardjo Oetomo in 1922 and it was later agreed to name as Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate at its first congress in Madiun in 1948.

PSHT is a pencak silat organization that is joined and one of the co-founders of the Indonesian Pencak Silat Association (IPSI) on May 18, 1948. Currently PSHT is attended by around 7 million members, has branches in 236 districts / cities in Indonesia, 10 commissariats in universities. and 10 foreign commissariats in Malaysia, the Netherlands, Russia (Moscow), Timor Leste, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, Belgium and France.

Ki Hadjar Hardjo Oetomo, a man who was born in Madiun in 1890. Because of his diligence in serving his teacher, namely Ki Ngabehi Soerodiwiryo, he finally received excessive love and succeeded in mastering almost all of the teacher's knowledge so that he was entitled to the title of a level III warrior at the level of Loyal Heart knowledge. (SH). This happened in the village of Winongo when the Dutch gripped the nails of their colonies in Indonesia.

Entering 1906, driven by the spirit of his rebellion against the Dutch State - because many of his superiors at that time were originally Dutch -, Ki Hadjar left again and applied to become a mantri at the Spoor Madiun market. The next four months he was placed in Mlilir and successfully appointed as Adjunct Opsioner for Mlilir, Dolopo, Uteran and Pagotan markets.

In 1948, SH Terate began to expand in all directions. The teachings of SH Terate have also begun to be recognized by the wider community. And the times of tribulation have changed. Soekarno-Hatta's proclamation of independence in a short time brought major changes in all aspects of life. This includes the freedom to act and express opinions. On the initiative of Soetomo Mangku Negoro, Darsono, and other fellow teachers, a conference was held at Pilangbangau (at the house of the late Ki Hadjar Hardjo Oetomo). From that conference, some pretty good ideas were born, namely SH Terate, which since its establishment has the status of "Perguruan Pencak Silat" being transformed into an organization "Persaudaraan Setia Hati Terate". Subsequently Soetomo Mangkudjajo was appointed as chairman and Darsono as deputy chairman.
