The game starts with tile-pieces stacked and arranged on the board, which vary in dimensions, forming structures such as pyramids, symmetrical, stacks, towers, abstract, or animal shapes. Every piece has a face (basically a symbol or a picture) denoting its "identity." Typically, in traditional classic Asian style mah-jongg, the symbols are circles, bamboos, Chinese letters, seasons, and dragon pictures. Match the tiles to solve the puzzle. Every tile has a pair to match against. When all have been matched, the player wins the game.
