  A fantastic little game. I think it's likely the best value game on Steam !! I've had a few hours of pure, relaxing and simple fun with this already (plenty of nostalgia too, for us oldies) ... for about a dollar. The music is nice, and the game-play is all here too !! (Some of the music sounds very 'Pink Floydie') ... so that makes it even better.

  I searched for the old arcade classic Lunar Lander. This was the closest I could find, graphically and in terms of gameplay. I played through all 30 levels of the arcade mode in about 45 mins. Had a blast for all of it. There are other game modes and a procedural level generator, too. Sound track was good. It's $0.99, but it's probably worth $5.00. Recommend.

  Decent retro style game which you'll probably enjoy if you're from that era of arcade games such as Asteroids & Space Invaders. Arcade Moonlander is a clone of the classic Lunar Lander although with some notable differences. The main aim of the game is very similar but instead of landing your spacecraft at one of a number of various bases you have to navigate through a series of cavern-like levels to find the single landing pad. There are often multiple routes to choose from and some offer a much shorter way which are much harder to manoeuver but offer a faster completion time for the leaderboards as a reward. There are several different music tracks which fit the theme of the game well. Arcade Moonlander has 30 levels to complete and most of them don't offer much variety, nor are they particularly difficult, just a different cavern to fly through and I finished it in just over an hour. All I have left to do is finish off a few achievements which won't take much longer. I think a lot more could have been done with this game to make it more interesting, more variety in the level design or more enemies and obstacles to avoid, there are a few but they didn't feel like they were an integral part of the game and a level editor would have been a good addition. There isn't much replay value apart from bettering your fastest times but personally I don't even think that's worth it. While Arcade Moonlander doesn't have much to offer to most gamers I do think it's worth it for the price and would suit those who like playing nostalgic retro arcade games, as mentioned earlier, or achievement hunters looking for a game to get a quick 100% with.

  Only played for a few minutes and it's brought back the original thrill of Lunar Lander - superbly done.

  Fun short game: it's lunar lander, you know what to expect. I liked the map and art design a lot, with the maps containing tons of shortcuts and twisting paths you can take. It took me about ~50 minutes to clear the arcade mode, which is the main feature (I wasn't too interested in the other modes). For $1 (50 cents on sale) I found this pretty reasonable.

  Fun game! Tight controls. Nice levels. The palette is well used. At the time of this writing I just completed level 17. At this point I already feel I can definitely improve my times on previous levels. I'm definitely going to try and finish this game. I'm enjoying it!

  This is a great, new rendition of Moonlander with new levels and content. The controls are simple and consistent, and trying for high scores and Steam Achievements adds replayability to this otherwise short but fun game.
