  Best MicroMachine Game Ever. Just a Classic, Functional. Weird Stuff with full screen mode, but playable, no bugs, All specs working, not sure if Multi/LAN works. But if you are nostalgic about this game its a must have. Cheap.

  I have so many good memories of this game, it was really amazing. Unfortunately, this version is not playable, they have never fixed the exploding and respawning bug, and I can't play a single track.

  Impossible to play due the exploding bug. All the cars starts exploding repeatedly which it seems to be a bug of this version (as I had the original CD in 1997 and never had any bug or issue). It happened right after the second scenario in my first minutes after playing the game for the first time. Also I cannot find any way to play the original soundtrack, which it was the most valuable reason why I purchased the game through Steam (I downloaded Steam and created an account just to play this game with the soundtrack). As a bonus track, the developers doesn't seem to have a support page : ( Very bad Steam experience for a great game. 1997 >>>> 2022.

  Game so great I had to buy it twice. No joke I got it on both GOG and Steam, that's how you know it's a good game. Unfortunately it's not remastered or anything so it does run in dos box at 800x600 res but if you can get past that you will thoroughly enjoy this absolute classic.

  This was my first computer game ever, in Germany its name was "Bleifuss Fun". 20 years later it is still as much fun as in the past, it's just a timeless game. Easy controls, simple gameplay. The races against the bots are challenging aswell as the maps; your car can crash down hills or can be smashed by rocks, avalance, etc. what slows you. Regarding the game is from 1997, you cannot expect thousands of cars and maps to select; I think for its age it has just the right ammount of choices. It works without any problems on windows 7/10 via dos-box which is already applied by steam when you start the game. Thanks for bringing this old game back <3. Playing it on splitscreen-mode with friends gives you really old skool-vibez. Too bad the LAN-mode is disabled, though.

  3, 2, 1, IGNITION! IGNITION is a classic racing game released back in 1997. I've lost the original CD, along with the manual and probably install code, been longing to play this childhood gem for a long time. Had some good memories of just driving along the tracks, playing the few beginning cars, listening to the great soundtrack. And now it's here on Steam. It's an old game, the largest resolution is probably 800x600, and may take a little fiddling with the screen to get it all fitting without parts of the screen cutting off. But once you get the video settings settled, it's a solid, stable game. The controls are basic, using the arrow keys to turn left and right, accelerate and break/reverse, and the right shift key to use your turbo. For navigating the menu, you're going to be using the keys rather than the mouse, or using a gamepad of some sort, or joystick or even pedals. Controls can be reconfigured to your desired setup at the least. There's Time Trial mode, see if you can get the fastest times around. Single Race mode, pick your car, pick your track, and race for three laps. Championship mode, race through every track unlocked thus far against five other vehicles. This mode unlocks a couple other race tracks and a few new cars. Honestly for a 20+ year old game, it's SOLID. At least for Windows 7 and previous versions of Windows, that much I know. Not sure if Windows 8 or 10 or MAC is comfortable with this game. Still, it's aged well, a great classic game, worth the $9.99 price tag. It's a short game yeah, but if you have a friend or two to play this game, it's a blast. But if you aren't sure if you like the game, or wind up disliking it, it's short enough for you to play a few races, configure controls, change settings, try things out, all under Steam's arbitrary 2 hour refund window. But me, I love it, and I recommend giving it a go. Also FUCK the monster truck. He's an asshole.
