  Played for an hour and I like it so far. I got an old laptop and need to put the settings on low. But still enjoy it. THe challenges are fun, as the race tracks. Will continue to play and see.

  This is actually quite good. running well on my m1 macbook air. maps are huge and the detail is amazing....looking forward to more maps and the scenarios going live

  This is already my new favorite Drone Sim! I can't wait to see what the final product will bring. It runs great on machines that aren't goddamned supercomputers too which is very much appreciated. The physics feel good, maybe a tad more real life that DRL, more like Liftoff. The maps so far are cool and I like the way you tweak the drone with cell, motor kv, prop size/pitch and all the other settings. This seriously is a great early release. I've just been having fun and it was easy to get to flying. Nice job guys! Love it so far.

  My honest opinion is that with this game still being in development I can see the potential for a really good sim due to big level, great graphics and very good attention to detail. However the feeling I get when flying drones still needs work as it lacks.. Overall at this stage it's a 5/10 due to physics. Looking forward to see how it progresses over time as it moves out of development.

  Awesome features, graphics and maps. Feels good to fly but isnt the most realistic Sim out there. My main gripe is the physics of the dynamic objects. For example the cars accellerate in an unrealistic fashion making it hard to capture shots of them. Ive chased cars at events irl so I got some experience to compare it to and I found it much more difficult to capture the game cars than the real ones. In conclusion: Just released but is already up there due to its unique features, if they tweak the physics and add a bit more content it will become one of the best Sims for cinematic flying.

  I own most of the drone simulators, and fly drones as well. TRYP FPV has the potential (IMO) to be one the best drone sims available. This sim has a emphasis on cinematic flying, but adds freestyle and racing as well. Good physics make the drone feel realistic. I had no issues connecting my transmitter, and the process was easy. Graphics and level size are impressive! I think if someone asked me what drone sim to buy first, TRYP FPV would be high on my list. I'm a bit confused by the name though. Is it pronounced TRIP, or is it TRY-P, or what is it?

  This is perfect for me as a beginner in the FPV world trying to learn cinematic flying. It worked with my FS-I6X transmitter with no issues. This is now my favorite FPV sim on the Citadel.

  Fun to fly in, but man the physics feel super wonky. I'm no Mr Steele, but I've flown my fair share of drones and some Sims, and this does not feel great for actual real flying. Feels like I'm flying through butter and every drone feals way too light in comparison to reality. For example, why do skydivers falling somehow beat a drone full throttling upside down to the ground? Why does the cinelifter deal like a 5 inch? Just feels real wonky on the physics side. I love the chase stuff with drift cars, skydivers, wingsuits etc, but again it feels to floaty to get a good feel of what it's like to actually film that stuff. 140mph drone somehow not beating a skydiver to the ground when it's full throttled upside down? They've only been falling for 3 seconds, and I had a head start. Also why is there no brief tutorial to show how to get those events setup and started? I had to guess that it was in the map menu. Maybe I missed it, but it was not very clear. Also why do I have to reconfigure my radio every single time I restart the game? Doesn't help that it crashes pretty easily. I'm not running some old Mac, 2070 and an i7 10700, but man this game can chug sometimes staring at nothing but a blank wall. And for some reason building your own quad in their creator crashes the game sometimes. I don't recommend this if you're looking for a Sim to teach you how to fly a quad in real life. Physics need work, usability isn't great, and doesn't seem well optimized. If you are looking for a Sim to learn how to fly look at velocidrone from TBS. Actually feels like a real drone, and will teach you good stick control. TRYP will teach you bad habits and you won't get to know how a drone actually feels when flying. It's too floaty. Now if you just want another Sim to pass the time with then yeah, it's fun. Having moving things to chase and help get an idea of what it's like to do those things is great, wish more sims had similar. But again, don't use it to really practice that kinda flying to then do it in real life. It doesn't fly right. Great for ideas for how to film it, but not for what it's like to actually film it. All in all, don't get this if your new to the drone hobby looking for a good Sim to learn. That's why my review is don't recommend, to give people new to the hobby some warning. Grab velocidrone instead. If you can already fly and just want a pretty Sim, it's fun, it's pretty, the event stuff is awesome, just doesn't feel right in the sticks and movement. PS: Devs, don't take what I say too hard, it's awesome so far, just needs improvement. I ain't returning it and am happy the purchase. It's just hard to point people new to the hobby to this right now if they want a good Sim to get ready to fly in real life.

  As with most of the other reviews on this I have experienced much the same issues, drones are lighter than air except when they're suddenly not and they're brick heavy. For example, when spawning half throttle would, in real life, send you to the moon, however in TRYP you barely lift off the ground. Also you can fly upside down at full throttle and still not be able to catch a wingsuiter who's gliding which seems most unrealistic. There's a litany of bugs with the cinematic chase AI and they will slam into the scenery and crash all the time. For now this just feels like a mobile game quality drone simulator with "AI" (key-frame animated) chase scenes and an inferior physics engine to Liftoff. If you're an FPV pilot in real life and you desire a sim to practice, this is not the game for you. I do not recommend right now.

  Wouldn't recommend it right now. Don't get me wrong, it has a huge potential. But its having some issues compared to other sims, like tweaking the drone or the "unreal" gravity. The physics needs to get better, the drone sometimes feels really weird and stops unrealistically fast. Another pain point for me is, that you can't change the speed of the events/vehicles, they are moving way to fast if you compare it to what such shot looks like in real life. I like the idea a lot, but when you have to follow the car with 140km/h it doesn't have a lot to do with cinematic flights and there is not much room for smooth cinematic movement.
