What is Honor of Kings?

With Honor of Kings, you can team up with your friends, select from a variety of heroes with exceptional abilities, and engage in intense team battles that will keep you on your toes all along.

The gameplay mainly focuses on strategic battles between two teams of five players each. The goal of each team is to break the opponent’s defense and advance through the lanes to attack their base while defending your own in the process. Players can build a team by picking heroes from a big roster, each hero having its own skills, abilities and weapons that play a big part in the victory.

Speaking of victory, the player will also have to destroy all the enemy towers on top of eliminating their minions and heroes. Choose the Right Hero

Defensive/Long-Ranged Playstyle  

If an aggressive playstyle is not your thing and you like to keep your distance from your enemies, you likely have a defensive playstyle. And for that, you need to pick a class that is excellent in keeping their distance while offering help to their teammates. And there are actually three classes that you can go with, namely, Mage, Marksman, and Support.

All these classes perform exceptionally well at a distance from their enemies. Both Marksmen and Mage also have the ability to deal significant damage to the enemies while keeping their distance. But if you get a little too close to enemies, these two classes are very weak. Support, on the other hand, might not have the best attacking skills but they are pretty good at playing defense. 

Mixed Playstyle 

Last but not least, if you like to play both roles, then you must have developed a mixed playstyle. And lucky for you, there are quite some heroes that you can pick to complement that playstyle in Honor of Kings. Assassins are one such class that is excellent in dealing damage both at close and long range. 

However, their defensive abilities are quite weak, so you have to be really careful when engaging in fights, especially in close-range battles. If you can do that, Assassins can be a really powerful class. 

How to Win More Games 

There are many factors that go into playing and eventually winning or losing the battle in MOBA games. And since Honor of Kings is a new one it could get a little while to wrap your head around things, especially if you want to win more games.

The first and most important thing to look for here is choosing the right role and hero. Try to focus on mastering one or two roles and champions to become more proficient at them instead of getting stuck with many at the same time.
