  Another fun game I'm sad to see dead before it could be saved from bugs, partially implemented features, clunky controls, and general Early Access™ problems that may as well make the Early Access tag it's own genre. CHKN had some great ideas and a lovable, silly aesthetic and premise, but it's either dead or stuck in a particularly difficult part of development hell. I'm sad to see a game about building silly, abominable life die, but it appears as though it has. Rest in peace, CHKN. I'll miss what you wanted to be.

  while chkn is a classic it is abandoned and its developers are hiding in silence, in the discord they did nothing but make themselves invisible, and they have given no updates, its a fun game but not worth the money for an abandoned game that looks like a test game or some kind of demo

  This game is awesome. Even though it hasn't recieved any (actual) updates recently, I still love it. Also love the arts :> Some suggestions: (You don't have to add them all, these are just suggestions, you can take as long as you want if you do decide to add these, please don't feel like I'm forcing you to do this!!!❤) ----------------------------------- - Dinosaur parts (add them back!!) - Some way to play the old version maybe - More than 1 map, it's getting kinda boring - Being able to change the size of eyes, ears etc. - Dragon Armor - C O L O R I N G (everything) - Ok hear me out, babies. Baby creatures. No way in heck adult chickens are hatching from eggs💀 - F E E S H (and fishing rods + bait) - Also maybe ocean area? - B O A T S - Accessories (chains / necklaces, rings, etc.) (- Being able to create custom parts?) Warning: lots of parts ideas - Frog - Snail - Sheep (and maybe wool) - Lizard legs (sneks exist already) - Ant - Feesh - Some space alien thingy idk - Axolotl - Bear - Horse / Donkey - Bunny / Rabbit - Dog / Wolf that isn't a pug - Insect (bee, moth, praying mantis, etc.) - More Birbs - Bat - Fox - Aquatic mammals (seal, dolphin, whale, etc.) ---------------------------------------------------- (I'm saying it again, you don't have to add them all, these are just suggestions, you can take as long as you want if you do decide to add these, please don't feel like I'm forcing you to do this!!!❤)

  I was given this game as a gift from my kids since I enjoy Minecraft and games similar to that genre. This would explain the one game I have in my account. I am having so much fun! Piecing together abominations and having them be new friends is hysterical. It's like the Island of Dr Moreau meets Minecraft. Searching for new areas, building my mansion and feeding the zoo takes time and effort. So if you like to play creatively and have some adventures, you will enjoy this game.

  Taking a look recently at old CHKN videos has been a huge reminder of how far the game has come and, how these artists and developers have dug deep into their imaginations to create and expand a world full of personality and character. When I sit and think about this game, what CHKN has above all else is just that: personality. Where other games have caught my craving to design and construct a world made of blocks, none have quite captured the life and the heart, that can be found in CHKN's lifeblocks. CHKN embraces building a connection when building yourself a personal companion, and this sort of unique animation that comes out of such customized creatures is what keeps the game interesting and evolving.
