  My grandfather had this game and I still play it. I'm too blinded by nostalgia to give an unbiased review. It's very good.

  Delta Force Black Hawk Down is a very raw arcade, set in the nineties of the last century to the present day. It discusses the battles of the American army against the Somali insurgents in the streets of very poor and half-demolished towns, where the streets are filled not only by both warring parties, but also by the civilian population, who often get involved even where they don't belong. The subtitle Black Hawk Down is an advertising magnet that, not coincidentally, corresponds to the title of Ridley Scott's successful film, which focused on the battles of military units in the ruins of the Somali city of Mogadishu and its surroundings. Defending a convoy from the deck of a helicopter or the body of a transporter equipped with a heavy machine gun, freeing hostages including taking them to safety, helping endangered units, guarding a part of the city from the roof of a house, sniping encroaching enemies, destroying a weapons warehouse or a radio tower, etc. All of this is interestingly executed, including the opening sequences, when you are transported to the scene of the collision by helicopters, vehicles or even a boat. The authors must be praised for their efforts in devising diverse plots and creating the most attractive atmosphere possible. DFBHD is already an old and unfortunately dead brand and has no future. However, in my childhood, the game gave me a lot of great feelings and dozens of hours of fun, this review and the last playthrough is the tribute it deserves. If you have an old computer at work or school and you need to kill time there, this is the right choice. 50%

  This game is perfect for those who want a stripped back to the basics multiplayer FPS with a level editor. this was the game that got me into FPS multiplayer years back...so glad to be playing it again :D online servers are running (only a few, but the dedicated are there). if you see it in Steam sale...buy buy buy

  I cannot even begin to try and estimate how many hours I invested into Black Hawk Down and how much fun I had... There were multiple game modes including; Deathmatch, Teamdeath match, capture the flag, and team king of the hill (might have been plain king of the hill would have to load it up to check). The game play was amazing, your skill level paid off, with multiple classes ---> gunner, cqb, medic, and sniper... all bringing something unique and useful to your team this was a game that required teamwork. But also a game that you could carry your team if you were a good enough shot and player! This was an FPS with close quarter maps and open maps... that required skill, compensation for recoil, and above all more teamwork. An added feature was the ability to lean that has disappeared in modern fps which typically was a sign of a better player. (Being able to lean left and right while moving side to side and maintaining your accuracy would put you far above the competition). This game and Novalogics Joint Operations series are by far my most favorite and memorable FPS games... it is uncomparable to modern FPS and which Novalogic did not just "vanish". To bad they don't make it like this anymore (sure everyone that actually played this game agrees).

  It s cool this game is one of my favourite when i was 7 years old.
