Boolean has all the groundwork laid for a fun and entertaining puzzle game. It is rough around the edges, as is to be expected with an early access title, but the developer is responsive and road map looks promising. I recommend this game to anyone that is interested in digital logic games or puzzle games in general. At its current state, the bulk of the game is an open ended sandbox so you get what you bring to it. Tutorials are available, although they can be a little bit confusing to those that are completely new to this kind of game. New tutorials are planned for the future. The game is pretty cheap and it is worth supporting indie developers that give us these kinds of niche titles. Give it a try.

Good game, early access, so it is a bit rough. I like to get in and just make things happen, so anything that slows that down is a bit of a bummer. The tutorial level didn't work for me, so I just jumped straight into the game. It took me a bit to find the "delete tile" key. I found it on accident as I was trying to use "r" as the rotate key, but nope, it's delete. Honestly though, after playing the game a bit, I liked the control scheme. I only used "e" to rotate though. Sorry "q". Some current bugs as of the first of April 2020. Don't assume these still exist:

On levels with multiple outputs, they are all labeled "1" at the beginning of the level. Placing a straight piece into them fixes that.
Clicking to close the Components system while having a component selected places it in the last place your cursor was in the construction area. It also wraps up one going from left to right.
Clicking the toolbar after selecting a Component to place has that click eaten (it does nothing), so click twice.
I like how the game doesn't care if you click off of it, and that it just accepts input.
When you're typing a name into the "Component Name" field, it shouldn't make a rotate sound, much less actually rotate.
When you move line pieces, sometimes they break and don't take updates anymore. Especially prevalent with select and move. It can be hard to find the pieces that are messed up, but if you replace then, then they work again. This really takes me out of the flow of the game. Link to picture of problem.
And now a list of nice-to-haves. May not be current:

There should be an easy way to go between levels. A back and forward button to the bottom left and right of the toolbar (but far away from it) would make sense. Put them at those corners of the display area.
Infinite undo. (Maybe if someone's deleting a bunch of things at the same time, that all counts as one edit?)
Selecting a save file in a level that you're currently working on shouldn't cause the intro/description text to pop up again.
Better starting resolution. Mine started with the options screen going out of screen. All I could see was "Autosave Timer -" and "Restart Puzzl-".
A small explaination of the Components system. Also a small tutorial, to let new people get used to the controls.
It's weird how the style shifts in the levels between top to bottom and left to right. It shifts at the "Combined gates". Also the numbers/fractions/ratios thing under that section title doesn't make any sense. It says "11/#". # being either 0, 4, 8, 10, 12, or 14.
Please, a good explaination for Two's compliment. I spent like 15 minutes trying to figure out what I was supposed to do, and I knew what a two's compliment was and how to implement one. Turns out that Two's compliment for just one bit is weird.
Things to optimize other than size. Like maybe throughput speed?
It would be nice to be able to toggle the inputs from off to on and back while I'm building things.
Being able to rotate selections.
And now for some things you did well! Yay! Hopefully these haven't changed or have gotten better.:

I like how the game doesn't care if you click off of it, and that it just accepts input.
The select and move system is nice for editing. If it didn't break things. (Yes I'm a bit salty.)
The Component system! Super simple, but super useful.
This is a lot like Logisim. Which is a good thing. Maybe check out how it does things?
The options screen! Something that is quite underrated is a good options screen.
Question: Does an Inverter and a OneWayer/Repeater take the same amount of time to propogate? Do they cost the same?
