  My friends are gonna see me play this. And I have no regrets. 10/10 Edit: Waiting 3 years since I finished DID1 was goddamn worth it, this game was very well made. If you're into these stuffs then give it a try

  I've been waiting for this since discovering Bonds, and it feels worth the wait. Normally I'd roll my eyes at one more JRPG-style game on Steam, but this is a huge step above the average RPG Maker game. There's clearly been a lot of love put into everything (the rope-style elements in the UI are a nice touch) and combat is engaging with a unique restraint/struggle mechanic. After playing a bit more than an hour, I'm hooked and eager for more (and a bit frustrated that this released in the middle of MMO holiday event season...). The first hour is quite heavy on dialogue and light on action, but I'm hoping that improves later on. The character designs are cute, the bondage elements are... Well, they're certainly what you paid for. And it's entirely possible to enjoy this as a game where people just get tied up suspiciously often. If you're merely curious, I'd recommend DID Games' Bonds first - but while that was a narrative experience and fairly gameplay-light, there's a real game in here. As with Bonds, I'd really appreciate this getting achievements to add some replay value.

  Rope play without the nudity. If you are fine with that go ahead and grab. The game play is well done. Just wasn't what I was expecting. Very niche and would have to be into the kinks to enjoy it more IMO.

  I personally find the game to be much more improved over the first one, story is also way more appealing than the first game! There's a massive overhaul for the animations when you get captured and the new mmmphh-ing noises are amazing, definitely add more charm to the struggling making it all the more fun to miss some of the prompts on purpose! As for the typical RPG gameplay I think the devs did a great job to keep it entertaining + it feels more refined compared to the first game. Now from what I've played so far in my personal opinion Seles seems like a way more likeable character than Suki, what I also find more appealing is that even though she is forced to go on adventure she's still quite enthusiastic about it which makes it more thrilling to unravel the mysterious while having kinky/fetish fun along the way! Do I recommend the game ? Sure I do. In fact I think there's more than enough content here to please all kinds of bondage fans - the ones that prefer light the ones that prefer rough, the ones that like wholesome moments and the ones that are into it being more aggressive if you can say it like that. - But yeah the game is great! It's fun, it works ootb on linux and I'm eager to see what adventures await Seles!

  Look, it's exactly what it says on the box, though i wont lie, it's a reasonably challenging game, and has some genuinely pretty good mechanics to shake up the jrpg style.

  Very juicy game for bondage lovers. Cute, unique, very soulful and without any violence or weird bits to turn people away. If you are not interested in bondage or are here just for the Sexual Content, skip this game, since it was made with a very clear audience in mind and there are no sex scenes.

  This game was made by a small and very dedicated team that manages to bring here a very unique and rare type of game for bondage lovers. Their previous game on Steam was Bonds, which I also enjoyed. Didnapper 2 has much more content included so congratulations to these passionate people. From their previous qualitative game that lasted several hours, now we have a full blown adventure with dozens of characters and content for many hours.

  Pros

  + Huge amount of girl on girl bondage scenes, which are very varied. + Replayable rope escape mechanics which are also quite numerous and varied. + Great fantasy setting. + Good cast of likeable characters. + Very long story for this type of game. Also it is slow paced and relaxed generally, with some tense moments and then you can roam again and have fun. The best part is that you can access all previous areas whenever you want after you have explored them, keeping the maximum level progress. + Demo rich in content which you can try, get a realistic feeling of the game and then continue your saves from.

  Why I loved this game

  This is the exact type of game that should be on Steam, catering to an exact niche and bringing exactly what you want, with a lot of quality in it. Didnapper 2 is an awesome fantasy story about heroes, fun, bondage and romance. You start the game as a magically gifted girl on a rural island, who gets to discover among spells, fights, secrets and magical artefacts, the secrets of bondage. Afterwards, in time you get to have at least tens of encounters with different sexy enemies that you guessed it, can do bondage with. The sheer amount of content in this game and its quality is staggering for a small team. You would expect to find games like this over in an hour, not to keep you going for 20 hours or more (depending on your taste) with lots of little quirks and secrets to discover. Did I also mention that your hero is then joined in time by another 5 sexy girls who have very fun conversation between them for all sorts of lengthy, juicy funny fantasy quests in a world where bondage encounters are behind every corner? And you can do lots of other things such as select your party, train them to fight together or try escape mechanics. The quality in everything in this game from story, graphics, sounds is awesome and so far, I do not know any other developer who has done this very qualitative game in the fantasy bondage niche. All in all, if you are like me and you like bondage, fantasy stories and cute and funny anime, you will love this game.

  Tip

  The game has a rich demo. You can play the demo to try it out and know that if you enjoy it, it's pretty much more of the same. The demo lasted me for about 6 hours and then I bought the full game. Just know that if you want to continue the demo saves you have to manually copy them from the demo folder to the full game folder since Steam creates 2 different folders. Congratulations for the realistic and rich in content demo as well. When some of these games last 30 minutes in total, having a several hour demo for a 20+ hour game is awesome customer policy.

  To the developers and other people behind this game

  + Based on the quality of this game, I would be willing to buy any DLC for this game, if you keep up the content and quality. + If you release further similar games like Bonds and Didnapper 2, with this level of quality, unique story and so much fun, you got a fan forever. + Please keep up the good work and stick to this niche of games. It is very clear that you have great talent and you can also organize it to great results.

  Get ready to be roped into an exciting adventure! Gameplay first: Under the cover and premise of fetish fuel, there's actually a quite challenging RPG game with mechanics not seen in others. The standard formula of "bump into enemies to fight them" is expanded in this game with the possibility of stealth takedowns. They're a much needed option in this game, as the combat always takes a toll on the party. Farming/grinding is ill-advised. Over-relying on stealth takedowns and clever movement to avoid combat however can be just as detrimental, as the player can end up sorely underleveled, soft-locking the progress. A healthy balance between being sneaky and frontal assault is the best. The golden rule of RPGs: save often, save early! Combat can get really challenging and is never a cakewalk after the tutorial sequences. The combat is largely by the book, characters have access to basic attacks, special skills and some can cast spells. However, female characters (player's and enemy alike) work slightly different. Instead of being incapacitated when their HP reaches zero, they are in a "weakened" state when their HP is below a certain threshold. They can be subdued in that state (also if they're put to sleep or stunned). Based on certain parameters, they can return to combat as long as one of them is still free. Male characters and monsters get incapacitated when their HP is depleted, no second chance for them. Sometimes however, our party gets in way over their heads and they get captured in spite of best efforts. That's where the escape mini-game kicks in. Through a sequence of directional inputs (part QTE part rhythm game), the player has to help the heroine break free from her restrains. This feature can be leveled up either when captured by certain criminal gangs (you can allow that to happen, can be useful as it restores HP/CP) or escape training which becomes available at a certain point in the story. Finally: doors and chests are not always opened with just a click, Seles, our main character (far more often than not) has to pick locks for the chests to spill their goods. Similar to the escape game. The story is quite alright. A few plot-twists but mostly straightforward. The most interesting part is that despite partially falling into the "chosen one" trope, Seles, the main character, often faces odds she cannot overcome and has to make her escape. The characters themselves are pretty likable, each with a different backstory and motivation to tag along. Visually, there is a lot of eye-candy. Vibrant, lively colors and plenty of nicely drawn CGs. Bear in mind, said CGs often involve "damsels in distress". The game is for a specific audience after all. The sound component is a pleasant surprise, especially the music. And there's more content coming in the future. The verdict: 8.9/10 Wholeheartedly recommended!

  If you are in to softcore bondage and anime this is the single best game out there. It also has an incredibly active discord community and open communication from the devs/modders explaining future plans, bugs, you name it.
