Tung Shing originated from Wong Lik (黃曆, the "Yellow Calendar"). Tung Shing or Tung Shu, is commonly known as the Chinese Almanac in English. It is sometimes also known as the “Chinese Bible” or “Chinese Encyclopaedia” as it foretells

Tung Shing has been in existence since the Hsia dynasty, from around 4,000 BC. Today, millions of people around the world rely on Tung Shing to make important decisions on a daily basis. One of the most common use of Tung Shing is to select an auspicious date for a wedding date. Some even use Tung Shing to find the best date to go fishing!
