  Giving kinda negative opinion right now. I would say this game is 5/10. Would have been 10/10 if i could add more laps in private races or choose more laps in online play. I dont know why u forced people to race only 2 laps. Let us choose more? No wonder almost nobody plays this game online ;/ Such a good game and wasted potential. Typed about this to support few days ago through email but 0 response plus there is pretty much no other way to contact them. On the other hand singleplayer mode is good but it's not about single playing these days mostly which makes games great

  So, I bought and played this game. I can say that this is kinda "remaster" of the old "Moorhuhn Kart 2 XXL". All the tracks are the same old tracks from the game of 2004, but now this all is made with Unity. There're also some differences and new mechanics but first things first. And let's begin with the pros: * ONLINE MODE: yes, now you can race against other players online. This is definitely a cool improvement and I think it doesn't need any words to describe. * SOOOOOO EASYYYYYY: today developers always like to introduce tons of mechanics to make the playing process a bit more funny. This game doesn't need that. Here is everything clear so that even your GRANDMA will understand how to play. * NEW POWER-UPS: I was afraid that this game is just a copy of the old one, but fortunately developers had enough imagination to add some new power-ups or at least change the way how they look like. * JUMPING: at first glance I didn't understand why I need to use "jump", but later I noticed that if you jump high enough, you get a little boost, also this can help you to avoid some attacks from other players. A bit more "active" gameplay, that's nice. And now cons: * LIGHTING: levels look dead and depressive. The winter track with supposenly white and shiny snow bringing the memories about Christmas now looks like I'm driving through the desolate North Pole mith no hope to get back alive. On the Farm there are the same feelings. Game looks way too dark in my opinion. (btw Egypt and Swamp have relatively good lighting) * DRIFTING: useless mechanic, very hard to control and charge up to full. Moreover the boost which you get once you made a successful drifting doesn't compensate your time you wasted on drifting. Either i've not understood how it works or it must be reworked. * STATS: don't think that games like this must have characteristics of racers or etc. All in all, the game is good. Level design and some mechanics really need to be polished. But for the price of ~1$ (on sale) this is rather attractive game to play with friends. I'll give it 7/10.

  Jesus christ, where do I begin... 1. The game looks hideous. Having seen screenshots of the app that existed prior to this release, you can clearly see that they just copy-pasted the app into steam to make more money off it. For a game released in 2020... it looks worse than the original Moorhuhn Kart 2, which says a lot. 2. The handling in this game feels so floaty. If you do minor movement it's fine, but if you want to take a sharp turn, your car automatically starts to drift and it just feels wrong. For optimal driving you gotta brake (which btw bring you to a complete stop in like half a second), which is pretty meh in an arcade racer. 3. THERE IS NO GP MODE!!! Who the f*** had the bright idea to rerelease a game and then remove its most important aspect. You can only drive the tracks one by one. Sure, you can change how many laps you wanna drive and against how many CPUs, but who cares. 4. There are no timers. The HUD is minimalistic at best, you have your place in the race, what lap you're in and what item you have. And that's it. It is clear that they cut the timer due to the game being a mobile game and not a PC game. 5. I can't comment on the online game mode, and to be honest, I can't even be arsed to try it out. I was kinda expecting to see a semi-well executed remaster of a little gem that I played back in the day, but this is just insulting and honestly should not exist on Steam whatsoever. Not worth even $1, even if it would be free I would not recommend to try it out.

  As a big fan of the original game (Moorhuhn Kart 2 XXL) back in the day, I thought I might try this new version and if I like it, also play it online with some friends. Let me take you throw the different disappointments.... Setting up: - Wow, it recognized my controller immediatly! - Can't adjust the volume (just on or off, thanks for that...) To test it, I wanted to play it offline: - The all-beloved Grand Prix-mode doesn't exist. You can merely select one track to play. - Every track is available, there is no challenge of unlocking more tracks and no new tracks are included. Starting the race: - The graphics are an absolute disgrace, they are worse than in the original! Everything seems super dark and depressing! - The new items are similiar to the original ones but more boring and not as intuitive. - The AIs aren't even remotely competitive, which makes it very boring to play! - There is no timer, so there really is no point in driving, since you can't beat a personal best, compete against the inadequate AIs or unlock new maps. As a last resort, I tried to play online: - I got an error ("Can't connect to online servers.")... - Restarted the game, but that didn't fix it. Conclusion: The developers have managed to ruin a - in theory - intriguing remake of a classic racing game. The gameplay does not provide any kind of thrill or challenge. Lackluster functionality (no online play, ...) and terribly depressing graphics dominate the user's experience. 0 / 10 would not recommend

  The game isn't fun at all. There is absolutely no challenge, no reward, no development. It's like the producers didn't even try to make a fun game. The race tracks are boring and the graphics are dull. I want a refund.

  Moorhuhn Kart is a steam videogame racer with sealed minced beef of farm animal and good sense of directions with a good sample of track designs!!! It's unconsciously tightened with whimpering character selections in certain metal bin scones i give this game a 10/10 a cantina of house love dimpled into a support of array love for the kart genre love the burrito master
