  Okay, before I say anything else you need to know that this recommendation isn't for everyone. I will explain in the Pros and Cons. Pros: Admirably smooth animation and graphics. The controls are extremely smooth and responsive. The characters move fluidly, save for some wonky lip syncing sometimes. The voice acting itself is top notch. I didn't check, but it sounds like the voice actors are the same as from the new MLP series. Cons: The game is extremely short. I 100% completed it in 2.5 hours including all achievements. There also isn't much more to the game-play other than exploring the map and collecting stars, plus a few basic mini-games. Music is nice but can get a little repetitive. The story is extremely basic and predictable. Summary - So with all those cons, why did I give a recommendation? Because I honestly feel the developer easily could have made a much more obvious cash-grab of a game if they'd wanted to. But the animation and voice acting are so good, it's obvious there was some love put into this. It's a shame it's so short, but the game is clearly targeted for a much younger audience than I fit into. For those young ones, this is actually a nicely polished game for them. My hope is that the game does well enough that Hasbro can take note that there is a fan base willing to pay for a good MLP game. Maybe then we can get the G4 game we always wanted.

  40 bucks is quite a lot for a game you can 100% in under two hours. You can play this game with the keyboard however all the control instructions on screen are for a gamepad. The button bindings cannot be changed. The movement on [strike] foot [/strike] hoof as well as on roller blades feels and looks great, which is an important aspect for a 3D platformer. The tail and mane physics are a nice touch too. The difficulty of the mini games varies widely. For some you might need a few tries to get a decent score rating while others are laughably easy. Most of them are quite fun though. The audio can be weird as some voice clips play significantly louder than others and the lip movements rarely match the spoken lines. There are also noticeable graphic glitches spread throughout the game but they are minor. Despite all the negative aspects I enjoyed playing this game, mostly because I'm a fan but also because it has a strong charming feel and atmosphere.

  That's not what Twilight taught us! At first you remove already made translation. What's next? You'll betray the friendship? Will take away magic again? Will use mayonnaise? PS Also Twilight not taught us making so terrible control for keyboard.

  Even watching all the cutscenes and getting all the collectables and achivements, the game is still under 2 hours long, and for 40 bucks, thats way to much to ask for, a painfully mediocre game. My expectations were already low cause its a licensed game, a my little pony one at that, but even then, this was pretty painful to go though...

  Here are my main issues with the game: - It's 40 EUR/USD for 2 hours of gameplay. I understand that the game is targeted towards a younger audience, but even if you got three times the gameplay out of it, it still wouldn't be worth the price imo. I would've expected the full price to be more around 15-20 considering the amount of content. - The game is made for controllers and doesn't have keyboard prompts. You can still play the game with a keyboard, but you'll have to figure out what button does what yourself. - There are no graphics settings at all, you're stuck with whatever the defaults are. Those points aside, I think the game is pretty well made and is fun to play. While the gameplay and minigames are easy, which is to be expected from a kids' game, they are still challenging enough to be fun to play. The game is overall pretty polished and has thought and care put into it. I think the price is still a big deal-breaker though. Note to Steam Deck owners: The game controls and runs great on the Deck, but none of the tutorial video clips render. This isn't a big deal if you don't need basic tutorial prompts, but it may be something to keep in mind if you're gonna give the game to the younger ones.

  Played this game while watching someone speedrun the whole game in less than an hour. No game that can be 100% in 1 hour is worth $10 let alone $40, and a fetch-quest game does not have replay-ability. Now onto the biased G4 loyalist complaining spree. Can we recognize the fact G4 had dozens if not hundreds of indie game makes and studios over the course of 9 years who would jump on accepting a license from hasbro to make an MLP adventure game? But after cancelling Fighting is Magic im sure they accepted they wont make an exception for anyone, which is baffling. Imagine the creativity, the passion that could go into the G4 MLP games made by talented Bronies! The musical scores they could contain, the voice acting. and all hasbro would have to do was barely lift 1 finger, to pick and choose what studios are the most promising! Remember the hype for Fighting is Magic? (that became Thems Fighting Herds here on Steam) But what did we get? GAMELOFT- Micro-transaction simulator. The pieces came together
