Genshin Impact Tales of the Youkai Event Guide

Genshin Impact's limited-time web event, Tales of the Youkai, is based on creating web novels about yokai for Yae Publishing. Create web novels, be inspired, and get Primogems, Mystic Enhancement Ores, Mora, Hero's Wit, and other goodies.

Genshin Impact Tales of the Youkai: Event Overview

The event will be accessible starting at 12:00 on December 21, 2022, and running through December 30, 2023, at 23:59 (UTC+8). After the event is over, players cannot receive their awards. You must have Adventure Rank 30 or higher to take part in this event.

Players can gain inspiration during the event by logging into Genshin Impact and finishing the corresponding missions. Inspiration can be used by players to open imaginative stages with various youkai themes.

Getting Inspiration

Players can gain inspiration by consistently logging into Genshin Impact and completing the necessary objectives. Every day throughout the first five days of the event, a new inspiration quest will be posted online. To preview the details of a task, players can browse between tabs. Prepare for quests that aren't yet available by making progress. When that mission becomes available, you can claim your reward.

Writing Web Novels

Every day at 4:00 server time starting on the first day of the event, a new creation level with a youkai theme will become available. There are a total of five youkai themes. It will take a specific quantity of Inspiration to begin the youkai-themed level when it has been unlocked.

Once the various themes have been unlocked, players can select the sequence in which they should be opened based on their preferences. You can make many pieces of content for the same unlocked youkai theme, however, prizes can only be given out once per the theme.

Readers Reply

The light book will be forwarded to Yae Publishing House for sale after it is finished. The light novel will receive feedback from readers after it is published. Players can select any number of titles and stories, and various readers will respond to each title. Each Youkai theme has six variations.
