  Pros It's a great Sim with great potential, I’m sure it's going to be one of the best police sims on steam when leaves the early access, I have to say they have a great taste in designing the city, districts vary from each other and have different scenery. It reminds me of my favorite city Boston! Traffic missions are enjoyable and their variety keeps you busy and satisfied during your shift. The graphic is really great in this game, you going to take too many screenshots while playing. Parks are very green along with eye-catching sculptures and decorations throughout the city. Different Police stations that you could spawn from or finish your report when done. Nice Game setting and support of the controller and other languages. It has an Informative manual and tutorials to guide you. You could report the bugs and suggest your ideas there are warm and attentive developers valuing your time and request. Cons (Early Access) -AI Drivers’ response to Siren is not great as it was in the Firefighting Simulator - The Squad, same goes for the car physics, at higher speeds game starts to fall apart (developers are aware and going to fix the AI behavior) - Dialogues are repetitive and not lively! -Co-op is new and a little laggy, it will get better at least there is someone there to laugh at bugs with you and help to boost your shift points. - Gun is useless in this game! - Crimes are not evenly distributed! - Sometimes your car has no engine sound! - you lose points even if your action was justified! Things that are lacking: - No interaction with AI cops (all look-alike) in Police Station. - Donuts around but you can’t touch it! At least a cup of coffee would have gone a long way! - No Radio Chatter in the police car (copy it from R* we won’t report I promise!) - The game lacks bigger cars such as bus, lorry, and truck - No CCTV Camera! (it’s 21 century for god’s sake) - Lacks crimes such as bank robberies, shoplifting, car chasing, and shootouts which would come in handy for a police simulator. - Crime Scene Investigation and Forensics (lab to give your evidence to) inside the police station! - No fire department! I will update my review as more patches and contents are added

  UPDATED POST 5/15/22 Holding Cells DEVS PLEASE READ!!! Adding the ability to escort and transport suspects on your own was the addition needed to really make this game feel as it should. That was a major missing element that truly improved the realistic feel of being a police officer. The adjustments made to how suspects are searched as well as how the officer handcuffs feel more authentic as well. I also find being able to cite and ID cuffed suspects is helpful as well. With every update this game gets better and better. There are some other small improvements I would strongly recommend to try to bring in the next update: - Stationary Radar in Unit - Would be GREAT to do speed radar from within the unit so you can effect stops for speeding easier. - Use of spotlight - Would make traffic stops and suspect searches better at night. - ELS remains on after you blip a car - More authentic feel to traffic stops if it did - Fix ELS on Transport Vans - The lights dont function right and the rear light is excessive - Fix traffic flow/ behavior at scenes and have them navigate around you at scenes rather than stop and sit behind you. - Add more crimes and traffic infraction recommend : Fleeing be a crime / Fight in progress / shooting / person with a gun / add car breakin / vandalism - Please add deadly force scenerios!!! Not having to ever use much less even draw your weapon loses a sense of realisim to being a police officer this is a MUST for the nest update!!! - Add other less lethals ( OC Baton) / Tackle suspects UPDATED POST 01/25/22 Keys to City The new update has vastly improved the performance and gameplay. The new lines and faces have helped to expand on the game. Also the update to stopping cars has made it much easier and more realistic. Some of the previous bugs seemed to have been ironed out as well. I would love to see use of the spotlights on patrol vehicles to use on night patrol as well as the ability to tackle fleeing suspects as well as being able to use handcuffs to detain not just arrest. I'm already looking forward to the Holding Cells update!! ORIGINAL POST As a police officer myself I can say that the realism is very close. I can honestly say the developers did their research on law enforcement when making this game. Some minor glitches such as cars vanishing during stops but that’s to be expected in a beta. Improvements: Lights should stay on when blipping a car to pull over. Just have it target the yielding car would be more realistic Make the spotlights useable so at night can search front the car of light up a stopped car. Add SFST tests for DUI walk and turn HGN and one leg stand. Add the ability to call for back up would be nice to have NPC officers. Add lights to the police vans as well as add the use of batons and pepper spray. Overall and awesome game am totally addicted to it!!!

  Let this be a real review about the game: I´ll be starting off by saying that, this is a great game with lots of potential. It has a very unique way of showing that the developers are aware of what some gamers are actually looking for in a police game. As far as the mechanics of the game, well... It does have a nice city, nice cars, nice lighting and most importantly the money u pay is completely worth it. As far as the actual gaming experience... It gets repetitive and hard to keep playing for long periods of time. I have 9 and a half hours played and I can honestly say, many reviews are accurate and honest when it comes to a game that obviously has flaws that will be eventually fixed and many callouts that need many possible ending or at least some, why?? because it gets boring to know the outcome of every single scenario. And dont get me started on why do the officer has a gun when not even one callout involves shooting or even risk of being shot at. I do believe it would be awsome to: - Call backup any time u think u need it - Having a partner on patrol - Be able to respond to scenes as a secondary or backup to another unit - Have AI police cars patroling and pulling people over ( to make it feel real ) - Have ranking of any kind - Different ped and vehicle costumizations - Callouts where the use of a gun is necesarry - Different ending to callouts depending on decision making and so on - etc... I have been expecting a game like this for a very long time and I have to say I am not sad about the result, Just expecting developers to understand what the public and followers want and need. If I could just recomend something: allow people to mod the game to how each one likes it. Lspdfr is the perfect example of a perfect police mod. But thats all that is, a police mod. This game could be even better and have all that Lspdfr has and more. So take that as an example to develop and make this game great cause it has the founding of an awsome experience. As I said, mechanics are awsome, game looks wonderfull but a lot of content is missing, and the word backup units have absolutely no meanig to the game. Even though it has multyplayer, there are less to no one available to play with. I dont know if this review is going to get the attention of any developer but if it does, I would appreciate if some of my points could be helpfull for the future.

Unlike other games, not only other than acting as a police officer, but you are expected to obey the law just like any other citizen. アメリカの架空の都市ブライトン（おそらくボストンがモデル）で、警察官として法を執行するゲームです。他のゲームと違って、警察官としての行動以外だけでなく、一般市民と同様に法の遵守が求められます。 Now, it's very important to note especially for Japanese gamer, that in the U.S., federal law and state laws are very different.   Ok, I have been a cop for 24-years and they have something here. This is an honest police simulator. Really impressed with the overall game play and adherence to real life boundaries police must stay within. Need to expand on possible charges, for both criminal and traffic offenses. Need to flesh out the interactions with suspects and criminals quite a bit. I am not sure if they are trying for an E rating, but I can tell you first hand that police work in the real world scores a solid M. Maybe things get a little more gritty as you go along, I only have just over 5-hours in. This game is fairly smooth and I have encountered only a few bugs. The foundation is here for something really special as it grows and matures.

  It is a good game. There are some parts that are not very realistic, but overall a good game. The main thing I would like to see is the ability to charge someone with multiple violations. Once you get the suspect to the jail, the ability to go through a booking process and show the multiple charges.

  I will post my recent recommendations on the September version of the Beta release. As a real police officer, hopefully some of these could be added. Hopefully this is seen by the developer. I recommend the game because it is interesting and quite immersive at times. It could be an all time great with some really good updates. I will update my review in the future. "Hello Mr. or Mrs. Developer. I love your game, I am on my way to post a positive review. As a police officer, can I give some suggestion to add to realism: Chasing: - You should be able / and required actually, to yell "stop police" as you are running. Also in many jurisdictions you are not permitted to use intermediate force options such as Taser on fleeing individuals. Typically you present that force option when presented a threat queue of some kind, even as simple as them turning to fight. You would not threaten to Taser an individual in the back for example. Also the yelling "stop police" identifies you and makes clear they are under arrest, and being lawfully ordered to stop. Car: - You should be able to roll up and talk to citizens from your car. Often we stop and say "did you see this guy". Could be good for open warrants. You have already addressed driving mechanics in the newest beta here, so thanks for that. MVA/MVI Collision: - You should be required to follow up regarding injuries or at least note them before they leave in ambulance. This typically goes on to the collision report and in the police report. I am also yet to have witnesses standing near by. I would like to walk around the immediate area and maybe find an "independent witness". Disturbance: - I am only a few hours in, but are there any disturbances in this game? Such as two individuals (could be domestic related too). Would be interesting to come across a couple arguing or have a fight develop, then you split the parties and talk to each one. Not sure if this comes up, but a few hours in and I hope this is something to do eventually. Dialogue: - Criminals or "clients" as we say, are rarely as nice as the ones in the game. They need a bit more edge, not cartoon like, but a bit more realism. Also whining about an expired DL ticket is probably not their focus when they just got arrested for fleeing and Theft. Other police officers: - First of all, we need way more NPC models for the officers. Like, waaay more. - I would like to see other police cars driving around. The only other cars I have seen at this point are the transports. Again, not sure if this comes up later, but after hours, I would expect to see some of my buddies on foot patrol, or stopped dealing with other stuff. As dark as it is, officer injured or down scenarios? Sometimes the question is, do I provide aid to my partner or go after the suspect? Would be good to make those calls and deal with some dynamic situations. Overall, for the price tag and concept, I find the game very interesting. I think some of these realism additions could really make this an all time great "sim".
