  It looks like there is only 4 houses to build so far and the Tea House requires beams that apparently don't exist. I spent over an hour looking for the 3 roof beams and even tried to buy them through the store but SURPRISE! Those aren't the particular ones you need either! If I hadn't spent so much time on the Trapper Cabin, I would have refunded this. Do I have to watch an advertisement movie to get the 5th house? Why? I've already paid for the game; why do I need to watch an ad for something that should already be part of the basic game? They're using cell phone app tactics on a game you've already paid for!

  I understand this is in early access and I hope things change and improve, but I read a bunch of reviews before purchasing and the game still wasn't what I expected. Am I missing something? I wanted to design and build my own log cabin, but the sandbox mode has me building a house in the suburbs for a "client" (and to that client's specifications), and the story mode (?) has me building a log cabin based on the game's blueprints. The sandbox should let me build whatever I want, wherever I want, imo. Maybe this will come later? The above complaint is based on my proclivities specifically, but the game at its core also leaves something to be desired. I've played the first three levels and there aren't any design choices I get to make. Let me do something besides click to advance a linear, pre-determined path. Finally, this game's text could really use some proofreading. "Lenght" and "get rid of the bark of them" are just a couple errors I remember off the top of my head.

  I honestly love this game. I could spend ages on this game, it's just sad there's so few levels. A few things I would love they did differently. 1. All the machines you get to use in some of the levels, you get skills for, but you will never see those machines again, unless you replay the level where the machine is used. Which is sad, I would love if they reused the machines for more than one level. 2. It would be great, if you could choose between different windows and doors. Only chose the white double window and the brown door, makes every house look the same basically. 3. Even in sandbox mode, you do not get to use all the machines you have gained skills for. You aren't even presented with the option to build a mud house, a tree house, a wooden cottage or any of the other buildings you have built. All you get is the brick house. Which kinda ruins the sandbox experience. 4. Being able to build stairs in sandbox... I don't even know why this hasn't been done yet, since some sandbox missions, tells you to build two story houses. 5. Fences would also be nice. To make a small garden or a porch. 6. Also, laying water pipes is never seen again... Would be VERY nice to see that in sandbox as well. 7. And if you could add electrician work for the game, since it already has "plumbing", if you give us the ability to use it in more than one level, that is. Except for that, the game is pretty good overall, and I see great possibilities with this game. I will for certain return to this game, to see what you have planned for this game. For an early access game, I'll give this a decent 7/10.

  The first few levels are deceptive. This game is buggy like you wouldn't believe. Who inverted the crane controls? Why are heavy concrete tiles secured with bungee cord? Why does half my pallet of materials disappear when they're shipped in? Where did half my materials go while placing them? Where are the other 5/6 of the textures on the concrete flooring? Why does the number needed counter not match the number used? I get this is early access and all but... I feel like this is still early beta. It's playable, but I highly recommend waiting for more polish.

  Normally really enjoy these games but even for me this was boring, Negative: - The camera is not placed in the head correctly so when jumping an moving you can go though your body / see where you neck should be, - Boring and repetitive game play - You cannot build your own stuff - no steam achievements Pros: - Game looks nice, - takes no brain power at all

  I wanted to be able to recommend this game, but I can't in good conscience. The bugs are numerous and rarely fixed. Some of the houses literally give you no instruction what so ever and you as a player have to guess and randomly try different things. The earlier houses were amazing to build and fun, but each successive update to add more houses not so much. The attention to detail for the players experience kept getting more lax each time. With the last update with the tree house, abominable! You have to pixel hunt to enter the tree house once the walls are up, there is not enough materials to complete the roof, animals (rabbits) are stuck against trees just hopping like mad. At the start you are told to build a rabbit trap, but told nothing about what to get/collect. The creators of this game had a fantastic game idea and started off very strong, but seemed to have either lost passion or something.

  So before the new update i loved the game and would have defiantly gave it a thumbs up. But the 2 new houses have ruined my out look for this game moving forward. The first house in Alabama is terrible. Its a house that should have been demoed then rebuilt. You replace the roof and fix some stuff but a majority of your time is spent painting the barn and house (Also after you paint the house it still looks terrible.) You can see into the attic from the ground, you can see the gaps between the roof layers, door is the wrong size with a huge gap underneath it. Nothing inside so it looks horrible, also the windows are clear on the inside. Now onto the 2nd house which is a container house, for the most part I enjoyed this one it was different and the issues with the other house wern't here its like 2 different studios built these levels. My only big issue is the fact the delivery tuck is nasty it come around the bend just sliding not really moving like a truck should. So after all that and more i don't feel like typing up. I'm really worried on how this game is gonna turn out moving forward.

  A lot of fun and very educational! Unfortunately, Sandbox mode is really bad. You just cannot change walls building direction, so I cannot build all 4 walls, only one, any other wall will be same direction, as the first one. I finished the whole game in 10 hours and cannot play any of Sandbox houses; what is a house without walls? May be it will be fixed later, but now I cannot recommend

  It's ok. The gameplay is pretty repetitive, but that's part of the selling point. The UI is wacky and confusing, and the localization is godawful. If you've played anything else from this dev, though, you expect that. What's made me not recommend this game is the audio. The leveling is way off - some of the sound effects are like getting punched in the eardrum. The music loops are also incredibly repetitive - as you're drowning in a pile of infinitely vibrating boards that are stuck in the wall, you'll be treated to a Home Depot + Apple collaboration commercial. But, the final nail in the ear-coffin is the fact that Borat congratulates you after every stage of the house. wtf?

  I recommend it but it's kinda buggy.. I've had a lot of strange things happen. I've gotten stuck. Indicator to pick up things disappeared. I had to restart the Japanese house 3 times. It doesn't always place the boards in the right places. You can't reset yourself but you can sell or restart a level. There aren't a whole lot of houses to do yet but it is $15.00 Full price US dollars and I got it on sale probably, knowing me. I did enjoy it though and there's a bit of replayability to it. (prolly not a word but I like it) You can find things laying around, from tools to treasure items, so-to-speak. The crane was kinda crazy to operate but I eventually got a bit better at it right before I finished needing to use it. I recommend that as soon as you get a perk that you apply it so you can build faster or with more product. Each house is different. I liked that. On reloading the first house you work on plumbing, my plumbing was gone. lol It looked a mess so I hope that didn't affect resale value. With digging, it doesn't always remove all the dirt and when your house is already floored, the dirt will be inside the house like it's on the floor. :( Throwing things in the Green bin to get some money back is awkward. Some things go flying everywhere so check many, many, many, many feet away.. They really fly sometimes. Once I grabbed the scaffolding to move it and I saw that I was up in the air and I had no head, with my arms sticking out. What was that about? Some parts float in the sky. Some areas, if you walk too far, you'll reset back to the core area :) Gonna need to hit Z to see what highlights in blue to know what's next sometimes and don't walk away if you are screwing in a screw bc if you forget where it is and can't see it, lol, GL finding it again to finish screwing it in. I had that issue once. 2 story house. Each house seems to introduce something new. New styles.. And it won't always make sense but it's really fun to play. I think it has a lot of potential to become a fantastic building game!! I enjoyed mixing cement, pouring it and quickly placing things like panels and wooden floors, roof tiles.. etc. If you pick up bulk, you will sit down objects individually more than likely so prepare for a mess if you grabbed a crate of something and realize you don't need that. LOL You can always resell it (Green container) or try to store it somewhere (Justin Case). I prefer to sell it if it's bulk bc otherwise I make too much of a mess. Objects you place for decoration (Plants, tables, chairs, grill) can fall over if you bump it. You can pick it back up but too bad it falls over so easily. Hard to keep small areas looking nice. That's about all I can think of with my experience with this game. I found it a bit therapeutic though when it worked as expected :) Full rating is more or less in progress so we'll have to wait to see. If they keep updating this and fixing it (and don't start some crazy DLC stuff before they do), I'll fully recommend this game.. It just has to meet a few conditions for me to be okay with fully recommending something.
