  Extremely short game but cute. I probably could have beat the game in much shorter of a time, but I was running into a problem where the mouse would not work unless I go full screen then back to windowed, and set on full screen the mouse never worked for me. Not sure why cycling would get it to work for a time, but glad that it did. From what I can tell, there is no failure, nor stakes in the game. It is a fun little experience with some child friendly puzzles. I recommend this game for youngsters or those just looking for a cute artistic game that is about 30 minutes long.

  Broken triggers system, so some of the stuff are unclickable and you need to restart the scene.

  A short sweet game takes about an hour to complete. Typical Amanita puzzle game. The game is not too difficult but still can be stuck at times. All achievements will be obtained in one play through and not possible to miss.

  A THINKING-TINKERING KIND OF GAME

  I love mechanical-type puzzles, the ones where you have to adjust valves and tinker with gears, water levels, or electrical components to solve them. Samorost 2 fit the bill with lots of mechanical-type puzzles to solve, in fact, everything about this adventure was a quest requiring a little bit of tinkering and a lot of "outside the box" thinking! But then again, I've never been abducted by Aliens...allegedly. This is a thinking-tinkering adventure quest, heck, it's more like an Escape the Room er, Planet game! Sanorost embarks on an intergalactic quest in the middle of the night to retrieve his retriever from pup-poaching Aliens. He boards his not-quite-so-trusty Rocket Ship and travels to a not-so-distant planet, where he quickly discovers that he needs help figuring out the lay of the land, so to speak,...(AKA the person behind the mouse controller; you, the player, and undoubtedly the mastermind of "Operation Where's Betty White When You Need Her?" Each level Samorost progresses to is a puzzle that needs to be solved by tinkering with various sections of the scene. At first glance, there doesn't seem to be anything solvable because this game is different than typical Adventure games where you scour the scene searching for a useful object to help you progress. In this game, I found it helpful to just sit back for a moment and watch how "things that go bump in the alien night" interact within the scene or with each other. After watching the scene, you will probably notice a pattern or skill set that something has. The tasks are solved logically but in an Alien way. The developer did an amazing job of creatively "thinking outside the box" and using elements within the scene itself. I can honestly say that I didn't need a walkthrough to solve this game and was still able to complete the game in 1.2 hours! I enjoyed every minute of the game and didn't feel frustrated at any point...that's what I call great entertainment!   "Samorost 2" is a short Point and Click game in which you guide (ig it is his name) Samorost through his new adventure. You meeet old friends from Part 1, their are new charas aswell! The Artwork was okay, just not my stye, the sounds were good. The game mechanics were very simple and easy to understand. It is simply point and click. It only took me 1.3 hours to finish the game with all achievments (they are not missable). I did buy it on Sale for 0.99€, which is pretty cheap tho. It is free, try it out!
