  Underrated little gem of a RTS/ Tactics Game. Like Military Real Time Tactical but sick of fighting WWII for the 50th time? Good modern warfare RTTs like World in Conflict/ Wargame only happen every few years so if you like those games check this out. A good compromise between realism and fun. Unit promotion system and basic economy system to reward keeping units alive for multiple mission. Pre / Post mission unit management similar to a very simplified Theatre of War interface but without the frusturating soldier by soldier search through a platoon for a good gunner or driver. Graphics on par with Command and Conquer Generals, which was good for the time. A lot more unit and ammo options for individual units but that is to be expected in a good Tatical Game. Unit salvage a good element that adds to the gameplay. Soundtrack good for the budget as well. I have heard Nvidia graphics users have had problems but this game is old enough to run fine on the CPU graphics amd and intel have. Real shame there is no demo for this game as most would be understandably reluctant to retail purchase a game from an unknown franchsise and developer that was under the radar from the day it was released. I might humbly suggest a certain bundle website.

  "Warfare" is the much rougher spiritual predecessor to the RTS "Syrian Warfare". Many of the same game mechanics are already there, albeit significantly less refined in certain respects. This extends to the writing and the voice acting: whereas Syrian Warfare was surprisingly refined in those aspects, the quality Warfare is much closer to what you would expect out of a first-time independent developer. The game consists of only of a twelve-mission single player campaign. No skirmish mode, no multiplayer. This may not seem like much, but the missions are quite long and the way the game rewards careful and deliberate micromanagement and punishes even minor mistakes means that it can take quite a while to complete just one mission. Speaking of which, the learning curve can be quite steep at first as the game does not necessarily have the best tutorial, but careful and deliberate study of the UI and some playtime should be enough for RTS veterans. Be advised, during my play through I encountered a UI bug wherein every other load of a saved game the mouse cursor's right click function would be unresponsive, leaving you unable to issue commands. There are also the occasional 'crash to desktop bugs', though in my experience those happened less often than the far more annoying UI bug mentioned above. This can be extremely frustrating if you save and reload often, which is something one is likely to do for a game with such a punishing difficulty curve. Overall, the game is worth a try if you can get it discounted. Just be aware that the game has its fair share of annoying bugs and that the writing and narrative while ambitious in their intention are extremely rough. The gameplay and campaign are competently executed enough to warrant it, but otherwise I would strongly recommend playing its drastically improved spiritual sequel "Syrian Warfare".

  This is game is fantastic! Besides the shitty acting..."King of Saudia Arabia"? Great research team. Anwyay, This game is wonderful for 2009! The graphics are nearly up to par with the modern day Xbox One, your troops will follow orders, you can mount vehicles, storyline, formations, ect...I could listen almost 10,000 wonderful things about this game! Why would I? It's $20.00! Purchase it now! :D

  One of the best RTS Strategy games set in modern times. The game can be quite hard on the Normal difficulty, but only when you make mistakes. Rush in all your forces into an enemy encampment for example! Then you will find it hard to complete certain missions. Though taking it easy, planning your plan of attack. Also like others have said you can spend hours on it and it is true so take your time and enjoy it. This is a must have game for RTS fans and I do recommend it.

  FIRST!! THIS IS Ａ GREAT GAME !! any one loves tactical micro management games should give it a try (with very easy modding support too) But, this 1080 version on steam is not as new as 1170 (I found on gamersgate) compared with 1080, 1170 contains lots of bug fixs and detail twicks for example the challenger2`s hatch animation, in 1080 the animation file dont exists and there is no hatch animation code in challenger2`s codes, if you look into the codes carefully as I do, there are just too many small improvements here and there giving the gameplay a much better experience
