  Despite some of these reviews being negative because it's about children, disregard them. Really enjoyed this game and didn't want it to end! Wasn't very scary and most puzzles are simple, so a great game to play casually or if you're trying to relax.

  who tf voices Franklin. i need to know who has brought this man to life. please. i must see who made franklin sound like the submissive and breedable man he is. i NEED Franklin. i AM Franklins #1 fan. if Franklin has a million fans, IM one of them. if Franklin has 5 fans im one of them. if Franklin has 1 fan that fan is me. if Franklin has NO fans, im dead. if the world is AGAINST Franklin then im against the world. till my last breath... i support franklin.. hehe i luv franklin x3 rawr!!! x3

The game has 3 different endings and though you have to go through the same parts of the game, lots of stuff changes: the dialogues, the items and outcome (obviously) depending on the path you've chosen. 2. It's scary. Don't be misled by the way the game starts! It has different enemies who act differently as well. They are creepy and will scare the crap out of you on occasion! 3. Mannequins. Yeas, I know, it might as well be a disadvantage. 4. Generally I enjoy going through the game. It's fun. I absolutely loved the lore, the story, the "bonus" cutscenes after the game ends (2/3 endings have them). I think it's a pretty cool experience! Disadvantages: 1. The puzzles are obvious. There was 1 annoying one that was changes a bit (I'm talking about the spear) and now there are only very simple ones. I wish the game would make the player think a bit more sometimes and actually solve stuff but it's fun nonetheless. 2. The enemies are very easy to avoid though they are a bit different from each other. They follow the same path each time that's very easy to learn and, thus, avoid danger. 3. Mannequins 4, I hate how you can't manually save whenever you want. It makes you replay the whole game in order to get a different ending though you could just have a save on a level with different paths. :( (me being annoyed) Overall: I really enjoy playing this game! I finished all 3 endings and I'm waiting for the game to be updated right now. If there will be any major changes to the experience, then, I'll update the review!   You play as an 11 year old boy named David. He is kidnapped. He wakes up to find hes not home. A man, Mr. Franklin, wants to play games with him. David must obey and go from room to room, section to section, finding his way through. Each area has someone or something you must run from while you find your next escape. There is no combat. Graphics are good. It has a grainy texture. Things are eerie, creepy, disgusting and disturbing in some cases. 4/5 Puzzles, or figuring out what to do is not difficult. Although I was stumped on a few spots. 4/5 Scares have their moments. Its more gross than anything. 3/5 Voice Actors are Okay. 3/5 Sound effects are looped too short and very repetitive. 2/5 Voice dialog with chasers are very minimal and repetitive. 2/5 Despite its flaws, it is a good game. The story is very disturbing. You'll find your information through short diary pages found throughout the game. Its not how I thought it would play, but good none the less. There is replay value but I've not done so yet. Would I recommend this game? Yes. My score: 4/5

  I feel I gotta warn y'all this one is pretty disturbing and features taboo subject matter, advise you stay away if you are squeamish/sensitive. Went in knowing nothing and while it's hard to watch at some moments it's a pretty effective horror experience, creepy and messed up for sure. Mostly standard horror gameplay elements some running and hiding from baddies, and look for keys ect, and some solid puzzles not too hard not too easy, but satisfying. Progressing through the levels is enjoyable if you can use that word for something this grim, and while it's clearly not some huge budget game. it's better than a lot of similar unity based indie horror titles i've played in the past. It's very short like most low budget horror games but they have multiple endings and achievements so there is some replay value. Content wise it's decent quite a few different areas and monsters so you don't spend the whole run time in just one hallway... Unfortunately some classic Unity performance issues even on high end hardware but not enough to ruin the experience. Overall it's really decent and has some of the more disturbing and grotesque moments in recent memory. If that's your thing check it out, it's worth the cheap entry fee for sure. 7.6/10

  [b]Don't Be Afraid[/b] is a medicore horror game that explores the mind of a serial killer/psychopath who kidnaps children and forces them to solve puzzles in there twisted play house. You play as a child and will often need ambient light from candles to proceed further as darkness scares you. Gameplay mostly consist of fetching items and avoiding monsters that lurk in the dark. The game offers three different endings that change what you need to do in the last 15-20 minutes of the game. The game can be completed within three to seven hours depending if you are going for achievements or not. Overall, the game has decent graphics, plenty of creepy parts, excellent audio design and fantastic atmosphere. [7/10]
